I found two lawyers that I wanted to talk with, McRae Law was one I chose to call first because the couple of reviews they did have were good, their website gave information on who was in their firm and what they did. At this point I was wanting to know if they would take the case, and what they charged. Some ask for a retainer and then the fees pile up, some charge a flat fee. The person who answered the phone (Lydia) was very pleasant, patient, and understanding with my situation. She was also very helpful with information that I needed, one was that they charge a flat fee. I would have used them for the representation I needed but I never received a return call from the lawyer, I called twice, my husband called once, we were both told the lawyer would call us back as soon as he got back in the office, as he was in court. I understand lawyers are busy but to this day, two weeks later, we have never received a call. I had left a message the same day I called McRae's office with another lawyer and he returned my call two days later, we went with him.
