We contacted Tr-State and got an appointment to discuss their services and products with the owner, Roland. Roland was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We were sold. On the day his company came out to do the job, it took just that day as he assured us it would. The clean up was done so well, you couldn't even tell they were there. Also, it's comforting to know that Tri-State uses quality products that come with a Lifetime Certification! If it were possible to give them more than 5 Stars we would, their timeliness, courteousness and professionalism and Roland's expertise is outstanding!

The owner of Tri-State Remodeling (Roland) responded to my initial search on YELP but let me know up front he didn't deal with "patching" but if I was interested in a consultation for new roof, he would be glad to meet. After meeting with Roland, I had a whole new perspective and what seems like a reasonable amount of information on roofs in general. He was very thorough in his presentation, explaining the various products, along with the training and certification process thru the product manufacturer, and explained step by step how a roof project would be conducted. Tri-State Remodeling not only uses quality materials, they understand the importance of customer service and satisfaction and professionalism. The estimate provided was very competitive and included items not mentioned by other contractors. I am so glad I chose not to piece-meal this project as it turned out, my roof was in pretty bad shape underneath it all; several pieces of plywood had to be replaced (included). Overall, I was pleased with the experience with one exception. The tarp used to protect the property ripped and materials fell on the tree next to my porch causing damage to several of the upper limbs that had to be addressed. Oh, did I mention the life time warranty? Awesome!! Check them out if you ever find yourself in need of a roof. They also do gutters, siding, windows & doors....

Colorwheel was significantly higher but we wanted the better quality installation and customer service normally provided from a small business. After paying a much higher price for new carpet and installation we were shocked to find the carpet infested with carpet beetles. While we can't prove the carpet was infested prior to installation we can say that in over 10 years in this home we never saw any form of bugs in the house carpet. We do find it suspicious that the Colorwheel employees that installed the carpet mentioned immediately following the installation that our old carpet was infested with stink bugs, again we had never seen a bug in our home prior to this carpet installation. I would be curious to know if anyone else has had a similar incident with colorwheel carpet.

Plumber was sent out for accurate estimate and the plumber asked me if I wanted him to bill me directly for his services because Color Wheel would add 10% to his estimate. Of course I said "yes". Plumber then informed me that he would have to check with Color Wheel to see if it was ok with them!! Long story short, I received an astronomical estimate from the plumber and was given a different, higher estimate from Color Wheel after plumber. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this business!
