Larger park than I…read moreexpected, lots of spots with plenty of space, trees all around, and the Jamestown Reservoir right around the corner within a couple minutes walking distance. The park was busy with activity when we arrived, very friendly campers and locals. There is a community area in the center with buildings for use, and a playground. Owners are friendly and laid back, only charge $25 a night for any spot. Mostly 30 amp hookup with limited 50 amps. The power posts are shared and not always conveniently located right next to your spot so make sure you bring an extension cord. No sewage hookup available but there is a dump station. Check in is at the marina just past the campground entrance but we were able to park our trailer in an empty spot then drive down and talk to them. I'd definitely stay here again!

So, it's really cheap For long stays but so disgusting. The daily spaces are .....okay.... No concrete, giant runoff areas in the driveways, but maybe for one night. I GLADLY paid double to stay at a nearby campground after asking for a refund.

Bare-bones campsites in a county park, $10/night. The price and campsite options seem to be the…read moresame for RVs and tent camping. Quiet location a few miles off the highway. No running water, no showers, no flush toilets, but the outhouses were clean and didn't smell. It's a self-registration system when you get there, no ranger station or reservation system. For $10, it's a pretty good deal. More of a stopover than a destination. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to find and figure out after dark, because some of the signs are tiny and hard to read. It's not clearly marked how you get there on the highway once you see the sign. Once you're off the highway, take the paved road till it ends. Turn left and in a few miles, the campground entrance will be on your right.

We had an encounter with the secretary, Cindy C & to say the least, it didn't go well. She was…read morerude and shouldn't be anywhere near the customers of the park. She kept saying, "I'm sorry you feel that way." I had nothing to complain about except her! All we wanted was help with 'things to do in the area'. All she was concerned with was the fact that we switched sites (only a total of 4 sites taken!) because we were with my 90 year old father & he wanted to be closer to the restrooms. We also had permission from the park ranger (Daniel, who was a jewel) the night before! Cindy should be nowhere near the customers of the park. She has terrible customer service skills. The park itself is also a jewel:)
