Located in Market Commons in Myrtle Beach, SC near the Stone movie theatre and other eateries nearby and within walking distance. We were actually walking from Kings Grille that was about 3 blocks away. Decided to look in here because I love to find a nice book to read. They had a lot of books from romance to steven king to biographies,cookbooks, magazines and more! They also have music cds, vinyls, and dvds for purchasing. Upon looking, I found The Wicked Soundtrack of the original broadway show, and decided upon getting it. I also was looking for a Percy Jackson series books- I think trials of Apollo- and all those books were in the kids section with the Harry Potter Books and Goosebumps. For kids, they also have lots of toys and jigsaw puzzles. An unique thing to Barnes and Noble is that they also had tons of Harry Potter items- such as legos where one can build the scenes of the movies, and various shirts too. I couldn't find trials of Apollo though, but it's okay! Store was clean and organized. Went to the front to pay for the Wicked Soundtrack. Hardly a line, Cashier was pleasant- paid with cash and the total was $13.00 for the cd! Got accurate change. Oh and they also have a starbucks here plus a cafe to sit down and read, and wifi too! There…read morewere some inconveniences, yet they were unavoidable & being taken care of the best they could. This is why I am rating this bookstore 4.4 stars - rounds off to 4 stars. Excellent customer service - 5 Stars. The owner of the bookstore was at the entrance and greeted me & others immediately when we entered the bookstore. Upon entering, I noticed many areas were sectioned and off limits. I found out later that they were placing books back in the bookshelves after they were taken away to repair broken pipes in the store and to prevent them from getting damaged. There were a literary jukebox and vending machine dispensing capsules with quotes - both out of order. I still had a good time wandering around the bookstore and browsing books there. I found a book in the clearance section for 25 cents and purchased it. Despite the inconveniences in the store due to the building being old and being repaired by the owner herself, I am impressed by how personable & amicable the owner was and that she was repairing the pipes in the store by herself instead of hiring someone to do it. I know when the books are organized back on the shelves that I will probably come back and spend more time here. This is a bookstore to see in Wilmington again and again.

They sell vintage books, clothing , fanciful items, handmade bookmarks, and upcycled jewelry amongst antique furniture and comfy seating areas to read books. One can spend hours browsing new and old books in this bookstore for hours. The Netflix Series: The Summer I Turned Pretty was filmed there - starring Lola Tung, Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney. The bookstore was filmed in the scene where Laurel and Susannah see writer Cleveland Castillo at the Whale of a Tale bookshop (Episode 1.3) (Episode 1.3) One of the most unique and joyful bookstore experiences I ever had in my life. A definitely go see place for book lovers in Wilmington, North Carolina.

For some reason, I was blocked out from the internet. I went to the person behind the desk and was told that I had to join your club and then put my phone number in. Why would I join your club when there are no Books-A-Million in my area where I live. I was able to go outside, get the title of the book, but then decided that you did not deserve my business so I left. You are located in a mall where most of the stores have shut down. You would think that you would make it easier for people visiting your state and your store to spend their money at your business. Would I come back here? No, it's worth the drive to go to Barnes And Noble. And that's the way it is.
