We popped in on 27th December expecting it to be quiet between the two big dates of Christmas and New Year but it was absolutely buzzing in there. Worried that we might not get we waited in a small queue at the door but only a couple of minutes later everyone was seated. I had no idea there were three stories and despite the restaurant being full the service was impeccable. Every dish was freshly made and brought to your table which made a nice difference to other serve yourself buggers we've been to before. The food portions were good but not overwhelming so you could taste multiple dishes without leaving any waste. The price was around £24 each which included a couple of soft drinks too which we couldn't believe given the amount of food we actually ate! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!!

You can eat in, take out, or get it delivered. Last week we got a delivery, the guy lobbed in a couple of loyalty cards and some free sweets. It's a small touch, but they're what make you remember a place. According to a notice in the restaurant, The Wok Stop also provides a discount to Slimming World members, and they highlight that a stir fry meal is 4 "sins" on their meal plans. So yeah, all in all, this place has a lot of potential - I would warn that the Garlic and Lemon sauce is one of the least flavoursome sauces that I've ever tasted - but thus far, that's the only bad meal I've had (hence only 4 out of 5).

It depends on what time of day you go, but usually the earlier you eat, the less you have to pay, so i usually go fairly early as it suits a student budget very well, and you never go away hungry. The only drawback about the Banana eaf is that you cannot book a table, so it is sometimes difficult to get seated during busy periods.
