As someone who is classically trained in music and previously played in a philharmonic and symphony, the repertoire the symphony picked was NOT easy peasy lemon squeezy. That said, I feel grateful to have been able to attend and see the caliber of playing here in Mexico. There is parking that you can pay for next to the hall, but I recommend leaving slightly before everyone else does to avoid the traffic.

We were originally placed in an awkward standing spot (which we were totally ok with) since it was a first come, first serve situation, however shortly after being placed there, a small table next to us got up and the lady told us we could sit there! I found that to be really nice considering usually they just stick you where you are placed. Cocktails were pretty good here too and I liked the vibe a lot from this place. Being right next to the Parque Rio de Janeiro is a treat. Beautiful area and places to see.

There is also a little bar serving food and drinks. There are several shops within the market on two levels. There are also vendors selling items outside on the first floor. The prices vary, but most of the stuff upstairs seemed more high-end. The owner was very friendly and welcomed me and asked me how I found out about the market. I told him an Instagram travel influencer made it look like a cool place to stop in, and she was right!

There is a cool cafeteria run by couple of chilean guys but so far they are not very good taking several orders and delivering to the terrace upstairs. The highlight of my visit was a band that played covers during the Saturday evening that I was there. This is a place to have a look, grab a coffee, listen to some music and get out. Savvy shoppers should not spend money there.
