Based on the reviews I assume the company does well with buying and selling homes but renters be ware. There property management division was horrible at best. I am a single Dad making a transition in life and I was taken advantage of by John Slappey. Most of the repairs in the home were not performed. Upon move out after agreed on date which he only communicated by text, they proceeded to steal my Security deposit without no written cause or inspection report. Unethical group! You can't believe these people at any point in the process. We did believe them in the beginning but paid for it in the end. They will say whatever they need to say to get the contract signed then will act unethically throughout the process. read more

My experience with Peggy Slappey Properties started off pleasant but has become very distasteful. I've spent months trying to contact one of their sales agents concerning a few issues with the property. for the most part, she has not been able to provide a directive advising she would return to me with a response - the responses have not come. When following-up I was told she's still working on it; to date, I still have no response on those inquiries. I certainly understand that things can become a bit hectic but I think communication is always quite helpful when things may not be progressing as intended. If I did not reach out to the agent then I heard nothing back. Feeling forgotten, I reached out to Peggy Slappey Properties in an attempt to get some assistance; I also copied the agent so she was aware. I received a response from the agent that seemed a bit defensive. I advised my intent was simply to get assistance and she instructed me to provide details on my concerns, so I did (including Peggy Slappey Properties in that response). I waited over a month to get a response then decided to send a follow-up email. Its been weeks and no one has responded. If Peggy Slappey Properties has decided they are not interested in addressing my concerns, not following-up and failure to respond translates as very poor service. I definitely feel ill-treated and ignored. If you are looking for exceptional customer service - you may want to look elsewhere. read more
