Love the Minuteman Bikeway! No matter what level you are in terms of cycling, this is a great,…read morewell-maintained, safe biking path near Boston. Plus, it's super convenient to access - we were coming from Newton and it was a pretty seamless link from the Watertown-Cambridge Greenway. It's about 14 miles from the Alewife T to the Bedford Depot, with plenty of on/off points (I particularly appreciated the 0.5 mile markers). The path hits a number of cool parks and historical landmarks, including Spy Pond, Arlington Great Meadows, Lexington Center, Parker Meadow - you can certainly make a day of biking and checking out each of the stops. Plus, there are a number of places along the route to stop, take a break, and grab a bite to eat, including Kickstand, Wicked Bagels, Craft food hall, etc. That said, I would come as early as possible, especially when the weather's nice. The pathway gets congested and whether you're a cyclist or pedestrian, you need to be generally aware of your surroundings. I almost careened into someone when I was trying to pass him on the left and he veered right in front of me. Plus, you definitely have some cyclists who, let's say, seem to be trying out for the Tour de France. The path is generally smooth with some bumpy, rocky parts, as well as a few points where we had to cross a road and wait for a car to stop and let us pass.

I love this bike path. So scenic, you go through so many towns, it's flat, it's quiet, it's never…read moreoverly crowded, and yet there seems to always be just enough people where you don't feel completely alone either. I use this bike path for my long runs and I love it. There's also great signage posted along the route. It goes from Alewife train station to Bedford, MA. I should bring my bike and/or lace up my roller skates in the warmer months!

When my kids first started out 6-7 years ago this was the first gym we tried. It was great. After a…read morecouple of sessions we bounced around to about 3-4 different gyms in the local area strictly based on price. As my girls got older they became more and more interested in competitive gymnastics and we came back here but the prices we thought were still a little high. So we went with another gym, for our first year of competitive gymnastics. Big mistake. They didn't really learn anything and was taught by older children which was a joke. I made them finish out the season. I came back to Gym Street and was welcomed with open arms as if it was my first time here. I explained what my concerns were and Charlie (who is awesome) addressed all of my concerns and than looked up my children's scores online. (That's when I found out 3 of the 6 meets my kids entered weren't even counted) Charlie explained that my kids would be working with a coaching staff that went college for gymnastics. I have noticed a HUGE difference in the skills my children have been able to add. If your serious about putting your child in competitive gymnastics Please talk to Charlie. As for price Gym St was $20 more per month but it's well worth it. Several other gyms will nickle and dime you and end up being more than you were originally told. Gymstreet is very upfront about all cost. They an excellent communication systems. I could go on and on about this place. PS It is the largest and cleanest, state of the art Gym in MA hands down.

Not to mention after being told and assured that the charges to enroll for the "free" trial would be refunded if we didn't wish to enroll, nobody replied to my email stating that we would not be signing up, and my card has now been charged an additional $125 enrollment fee on top of the $85 + initiation/deposit that I was told would be refunded. I am beyond frustrated and do not recommend this place at all.
