I could have spent an afternoon browsing in this lovely shop. They have anything you might need for a well stocked kitchen. When you walk in, you get the delicious smell of fresh brewed coffee. They sell coffee beverages to go and have a large variety of beans by the pound. I got a yummy Hawaiian macadamia coffee. They offer complimentary gift wrap services for your purchases and made us up a beautiful gift bag. read more

I walked into this store wanting to buy some nice coffee for a gift. while I was standing at the counter waiting for my turn to be helped, two different employees chose to help people who had walked up to the counter after me. Wow, they really do have everything but the kitchen sink! Well, they do have a sink.. but it's not for sale. This place has all the kitchen essentials as well as powdered soup mixes and infomercial unitaskers you can shake a whisk at. I came by on a chilly, windy Saturday in October and it happened to be the day that they had hot coffee, cider, and soup free to sample. What a treat in that kind of weather! Kay (I think..) urged me to try all of it and was within earshot when I needed help even though they had just opened and were busy reorganizing. She was very nice and friendly and although I didn't intend to buy anything I ended up getting a few things. The prices were mostly reasonable, especially for cookie cutters (under $2). Definitely a place to check out if you or someone in your life loves to cook. read more

How many samples it's my lucky day. Huge selection of coffee beans you could smell them as if they just roasted them....as you open that door The hours here are more reasonable and open longer than any other store on Main Street in Midland. Which I love. They have anything you could ever need for your cooking needs. Sure to try the samples of the coffee and the dipping oils and be sure to check out the clearance :-) the employees or so nice here and willing to help you out with anything you need highly recommended. read more

There's a great selection of teas here, as well as teapots, mugs, and everything else you need for your kitchen. My favorite area is the gadgets section, where you can find a brush for cleaning mushrooms, an OXO garlic press, and other things that make you think "I need that." I went in shortly before 6 pm seeking some exotic chili powders. The store is well kept and looks quite nice. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the pleasant interior. The storekeeper was sweeping the front sidewalk when I entered the store. As I wandered throughout the aisles, I saw the sweeping storekeep steal no less than 3 glances at me, craning her neck around the doorway to monitor my movements. Not once did she postpone her sidewalk tending to lend a helpful hand or offer and kind word of assistance. I spent about 7 minutes inside in my fruitless quest for chili powder and was not approached by a single employee. I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers: store = nice, service = miserable. read more

The store itself was amazing, but the staff was terrible. I've heard wonderful things about the store and I have been looking forward to going for soooo long, so when I finally went to the store of my dreams and was not welcomed, watched like a hawk as if I was going to stuff my pockets with things, and talked to like I was anything but a paying customer (who was PLANNING on making this my regular stop weekly since I have a recipe blog and am always looking for food props, unique items, etc)... I will never return. Poor service made you lose a potential best customer. read more
