Seriously, do not trust this place. I brought my dogs here and had a similar situation to all of the other One star ratings. Our dogs came home scared and stressed and were not the same after. The owners were actively drinking when we picked up our dogs. They said that our dogs were aggressive. Our dogs have been obedience trained and have never had issues previously or after them being in this facility. They came home with soiled bedding, and they were covered in their own excrement. I was told that they were vicious dogs. We have never had this issue with our dogs before. They are are obedience trained and very well behaved. It took our dogs almost a month to get back to normal after being at this place. Please do not ever leave your dogs here. These are not good good people and don't like all dogs. read more

My puppy and I love this place. Not only did she take me short notice when my dog came back from another boarding kennels smelling like something dead. But she gave him the cutest puppy cut. And she didn't tell me I had to wait two months for grooming. Her location is clean and well kept and does not smell. And the owner is very pleasant read more

I had a disappointing experience here. We boarded our Old English Sheepdog Ziggy for a weekend while we attended a family reunion out of state. Ziggy unfortunately developed a case of diarrhea, either from anxiety or the change in diet (we opted that he be fed the kennel food). We received a call from Pedzik's in which the owner informed us that Ziggy had diarrhea and she was tired of cleaning him. She told us that "this is unsatisfactory" and that we should come get him ASAP. We're 300 miles away. Obviously we can't come get him. We arranged for our son to get him, and when he did, the dog was soaking wet. At no time did she voice any concern for the dog's health. read more

I boarded my two dogs while I was traveling to Mexico on vacation. The establishment was very clean and didn't reek of urine like some of the previous boarding facilities I've visited. Christine was super friendly and I would pick her business again when I'm away. read more

My dog Lucy was boarded here for two weeks. When she went in she was a happy healthy dog, and when we got her back you could see her ribs and spine and her collar that was once well fitting and snug fit loose and floppy around her neck. I don't know what happened, if she was underfed, if other dogs were eating her food or if possibly she as too nervous to eat. No matter which scenario was the truth I would have expected a call or an email or some form of communication letting me know my dog was rapidly loosing weight. I received nothing of the sort. I am appalled and disgusted that a dog boarding facility that takes such pride on their training and credibility would have let this happen. I sincerely hope that people will read this review and think twice about Pedzik's, I know I will. read more

We have been bringing our little mutt, Chowder, here regularly for three years. He is always excited when he sees where we are. The grooming is all we can ask for and the service is friendly. Even if we call last minute Chris tells us, "I always have room for Chowder." We love it. read more

We planned a last minute trip over the Thanksgiving holiday where we couldn't bring our big boy, Mack (Rottweiler/Mastiff mix). Christine was extremely accommodating in scheduling Mack to stay at Pedzik's Pets for 6 nights, which I was very grateful for given the late notice, during a holiday. We were in the neighborhood with Mack the day before dropping him off so we decided to stop in for a quick meet and greet. Christine was wonderful! She gave us a tour of the facility and went over the daily schedule. The kennels were all good size and clean. Mack warmed up to Christine and the place quite quickly. He felt so comfortable that he left a 'present' while exploring one of the fenced in areas- We offered to pick it up (since she wasn't on the clock yet!), but she insisted that they take care of it. When we dropped Mack off the next day, he walked in the door with his tail wagging a mile a minute. When we picked him up 6 days later, he came out the same way- tail wagging a mile a minute! It was clear that he felt as if he was on vacation too during his stay at Pedzik's Pets! After bringing Mack home, it didn't take long to notice that his manners improved drastically since dropping him off- Christine definitely spent time with Mack and gave him individual attention. We had adopted Mack about a month and a half prior to his stay at Pedzik's Pets so we were very new to the dog parenting thing. Christine spent time 'training' us and answering a few questions/concerns we had about introducing Mack to our other pets and how to be the one in control with such a large and strong dog. She was extremely helpful and even lent us a book on dog training. Thank you Christine and Pedzik's Pets for a great boarding experience! Mack is looking forward to his next stay with you!! read more

This place was not friendly to my 13-year old Golden Retriever. We treat our dog like family, and he is known to take his time getting in and out of the car. The male groomer at this place handled my best buddy extremely roughly and inappropriately. He forcefully pulled my dog out of the car (when he was taking his time stepping out) and shoved him back in the car after they trimmed his hair. My buddy could barely stand for more than a few minutes after we got back home because his hips were hurting him. I even explicitly asked the groomers to be gentle and let him take his time because he is sore due to age. If you have an older dog, do not let this place groom him/her. Their website says that the male who works here was raised on a self-sufficient farm and that is extremely evident in his movements. He treats pets like farm animals. I will never be going back here, and I mean never. They put my best friend in pain. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. We boarded our dogs and they were not nice to them. My typically happy go lucky dogs were afraid to come out of the crate when we arrived to pick them up. We received back their bedding and toys so soiled that we needed to throw them away. It took about a month for our dogs to get back to normal. They were traumatized by the experience. This is especially frustrating because they had my number and back up dog caregiver numbers to call to pick them up if they had difficulty, we received no indication that there was an issue until pick up. Also, when we dropped the dogs off the male owner was actively drinking at 8:00 in the morning, whisky out of his coffee cup. That should have been an indication for us to not trust them but unfortunately our flights and hotel were booked and we needed to trust that they were competent to care for our dogs...unfortunately they were not and should be reported for the atrocious conditions that we found our dogs in, they were left in their soiled crates and not fed. It broke my heart to pick them up and see them in these conditions. Please do not bring your dog here. We have since found another place to board our dogs that sincerely cares about their well being. read more
