Twice Is Nice Clothing

Had the opportunity to try out this new shop on opening day as a shopper and found it just…read moreexcellent. Unlike a lot of consignment or second-hand places, this one is laid out just like a regular store with sizing easy to navigate and a beautiful atmosphere. It's in an older home with really high ceilings and it is just a gorgeous location. The staff are really nice and happy to help you find whatever you're looking for or let you browse away on your own too. The clothes is really good too. Lots of good names and really good prices. I scored a pair of minty Parasuco denim capris for just $4.50! Was in this week and saw Oscar de la Renta, Dereon, Liz Claiburne, Guess, lots of Tommy Hilfiger and more Parasuco. There is a lot of clothing in there that IS new, with tags still on. The staff are very picky about what they take in. They also handle shoes and accessories and had a nice little collection of jewelry! I took home a pair of new-in-box Fitzwells for just $20 that I checked and found retail in the city for over $100! They have a temporary change room for now but are adding more space in the adjoining room. I was back this week to consign some of my own stuff and had another great experience. They have a written agreement that spells everything out for you. You get 2/3 of the sale price, which is higher than anywhere else I know in the area. They are really pleasant too, unlike some stores I could mention! Very upfront and don't mind answering any questions. They contact you every two weeks to let you know if you've made sales, also unlike some stores that claim to call you and then don't or say you couldn't be reached. I have friends who put stuff in the first week and they've been called and paid out already. Oh, and they pay in cash! No store credit or whatever. I will definitely be back to this one. It is really worth the drive out to Hillsborough!

Their random bins are full of many broken items and it seems very disorganized. The bags and hats are normally pretty cool but the men's plus size section is at times limited to older styles and the women's plus sizes are full of more formal wear and less casual items. At times you can find gems but you have to look hard! The staff are so nice and that's what makes the place worth shopping at. The prices are set and they don't overcharge like most Frenchy stores. It's worth the money to check it out instead of buying new items.

I have been going to this store since the new owner ship took over, and I loved it. It was always so bright and clean, and the staff was so amazing. The Manager (Tracie might have been her name??) was so kind and friendly, and I loved the regular day time cashier, Lana Banana! As well as all the other girls out back! I always found at least $50.00 worth of amazing quality clothes! I moved out West about a year and a half ago, and I just recently moved back. I will never go back. The store was a mess, it was dark and dreery looking, and the staff was AWFUL. I asked the cashier about the manager, and she said she never knew her? She quit like a year ago!?She was the greatest. I didn't recognize any of the girls doing the clothing drops, and they were all very standoffish and negative. AND THE CLOTHES. The clothes were terrible. The bins were over flowing, half of the clothes that were hanging up where on the floor, the sizes where a mess, and there was no organization what so ever. The quality was something out of a nightmare. I tried on 6 shirts, 4 of them had very visible stains, and one of them was ripped! The kids clothes were even worse. It was so disappointing. I had never felt so dirty in that store before. Guys was my go-to place, but I will not be back.
