The staff was great across the board. The hotel is just a little run down and over the weekend one of the elevator was completely down which caused a bit of chaos as people tried to figure out alternatives. The meeting rooms were it or miss. Some were fine. Some had HVAC issues and one had a loud dripping noise that made us think that ceiling was going to collapse. The bar was OK with the weekend bartender being great. But oof those hotel bar prices were brutal. The restaurant was convenient and the food was OK with great staff. The location was not as convenient as previous locations in Little Rock, with other restaurants, convenience stores, etc being kind of a hike away.

This is the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed. I'm not sure where these good…read morereviews are coming from. The staff is friendly but I didn't dare eat at the hotel and could barely sleep. If you have another option for a stay in Little Rock take it. I'm hoping I can figure out where to post the pics of my hotel room so you can see for yourself. We were here for a business trip in March. The meeting room was a nice 57 degrees the first entire day so people were leaving the meeting. Every surface of the hotel is covered in something disgusting. I left a day early. The hotel made no effort to do anything to accommodate or reimburse us for the terrible facilities. While at our conference we watched detectives come and go from the 6th floor all day, the people from our group staying on the 6th floor all got moved off that floor because of the crime scene (the hotel denied) and the terrible smell that permitted the 6th floor then migrated throughout the entire hotel. We know it was a crime scene because as one of the members of our group came out of her hotel room that morning she stumbled on a naked woman who had been beaten covered in feces laying in the hallway. She is the one that called the police. When we got back from dinner that night we got to see the van parked out front that cleans medical waste. You'd think they'd have enough sense to park it elsewhere instead of the hotel entrance where we are all coming and going. Finally I called Hilton corporate to complain and got no where. They had that hotel manager call me and give me a bs story that they are going to remodel and renovate, no apologies just lame excuses. I am shocked Hilton puts their name on this hotel. Do not come to this one expecting anything other than a dumpy, run down hotel with stains covering every surface. Hilton should be ashamed.

Its not too hard to find and there's plenty of parking out front. Leaving the parking lot is a little confusing though (signs would be helpful...). But its well worth the trip out! There were a variety of slices of nature and we spent a few hours here and still did not get to see it all. There's a whole nature preserve that's part of it and apparently great in the dawn/dusk to spot and hear various birds. We did see quite a bit of wildlife and fun plants around so even if we missed the preserve it was fun to see everything else. I think this is a great spot to reconnect with nature for a bit. There were well marked paths so it wasn't too strenuous and there were some more kid friendly areas as well for them to explore and run around.

My cousin drove us from Little Rock, and although it took about an hour and 10 minutes, the experience made the drive completely worthwhile. The gardens are beautifully maintained and peaceful. Perfect for taking your time, enjoying nature, and capturing great photos. One tip: buy your tickets online if you can. At the gate, adult tickets are around $30, and while there are different price ranges for kids (with children under 4 getting in free), purchasing ahead of time can save you money and time. Be prepared to walk! The paths vary from smooth sidewalks to gravel and slightly uneven stone paths. There are also bridegs and stairs that lead to highlights like the koi pond, the tree house, and waterfall, which are absolutely worth exploring. Because of this, I highly recommend wearing very comfortable shoes, or even bringing a backup pair if you plan to take a lot of pictures. If you're visiting with kids, they'll have a great time exploring, but be mindful on the uneven stones and hold their hands in certain areas. For those using strollers or wheelchairs, just know that some parts of the garden can be a bit challenging due to the terrain. There is also a nature preserve area that we didn't get to fully explore because we were tired. Overall, this is a lovely, relaxing place to visit, and I would definitely come back again when I'm in Arkansas.
