Most of the doctors there are really great. Very professional and great with kids. This is the…read moreonly reason they get two stars. They rarely answer their phones during the hours they say they are open. The only thing worse than waiting for over half an hour for someone to pick up the phone is to listen to the recording of a doctor telling you that they WILL get to your child as soon as they can in a condescending voice speaking to you as if you were a child yourself. I got sick and tired of hearing that same annoying voice telling me not to hang up because I am "important to them" and "we ALL don't like to wait." Furthermore you can't make an appointment online unless the patient is over 18. Patients under the age of 18 have to call a 1-800 number to register, THEN go online to make an appointment. It adds insult to injury. If I had the luxury of talking down to my customers like they do, then maybe I would understand the recording better. But, since I don't, my child has a new pediatrician. one who's office staff actually answer their phones when they say they are open. What a concept.

The wait time is slim to none when waiting to be called. I did call once at peak hours and had to wait a bit to be helped but that's understandable as there are only so many people to answer phones to parents and patients calling. Anything I need I call in advance and they do not rush me- they take their time with me. They also have the mychart app where you can print off your shot records send messages to the office as well. I highly recommend CNP Amanda and Dr. Bishop as those are the doctors I use but I'm sure the others are great!

Her office is on the first floor of the building and conveniently located next to the covered garage. They have separate well and sick areas for kiddos and parents that are equally as cute. They gave us a tour of the facilities and everything looked very well kept and clean. There's even a nursing room for breastfeeding moms so they can have a private area! Dr. Chauhan was amazing and walked us through what we could expect from her office. She answered every question we had and answered questions we didn't even know we would have! She does see patients at the hospital (Memorial Hermann Sugar Land). She does take walk-ins if needed (with a $35 fee). She does see patients once every 4 weeks on Saturday. The office staff is great as well. Everyone was very polite and happy to be there. It is a teaching clinic so occasionally you may have a medical student exam your baby first before she comes in. We are so excited to have her as our pediatrician! Oh, and if you're having/have a girl --- they pierce ears here too!

Pay $250 I felt ok at the time, but I decided to get tested anyways because of an upcoming social event. Surprisingly, I tested positive. Wonk wonk... but the good thing was that I knew to (sadly but) responsibly stay at home to prevent spreading it. I wish there was a cheaper alternative for flu tests instead of going into an urgent care. These urgent care visits always leave me with anxiety I never know how much it would cost until weeks later. It also doesn't help that my insurance has such high deductible. Wait time was ok because I had an appointment. The person who swabbed my nose was nice. Living is expensive. Just don't get sick and you'll be ok.

She is ALWAYS available via text (really, can you believe that? Evenings, weekends) and will respond to you promptly. For a short period of time, after the birth of my second child, I was using two different pediatricians (wasn't happy with the first, was in search of new Dr ) My kid got sick, I called both doctors as I was desperate to talk to someone asap. His Dr sent me to ER. However, Dr. Burgos, made me follow a treatment and even sent prescription order to the pharmacy. Told me to monitor and go to ER only if he got worse. I still went to ER as I was paranoid due to what his "main" doctor said. After hours of waiting and a huge bill after, the Dr at the hospital ended up doing the same treatment that Dr Burgos advised and sent me home. My son was normal a few days later. I immediately switched doctors after. Recently, I called her due to my son getting COVID , and reached the next day to make sure he was ok. She had the day off, but she still sent her assistant to call me to arrange in case I needed to see someone right away! Our previous pediatrician would send us to the ER for anything other than regular check ups. Literally. Her office staff is friendly, patient and caring. They all look like they get along well and make a good team. I'm beyond happy that I found Dr. Burgos. And I'm happy that I didn't go by the "looks" (previos Dr office was super refined and new installation). I trust her fully with the care of my two boys!

Towards the end of the 2 years, we worked with Dr Hogarth in getting help for our autistic daughter's digestion issue. We were hoping for a good dietary approach, but usually were offered prescription meds instead. In fact, after reviewing records for our last 13 appointments, most of Dr Hogarth's appointments ended in her writing us prescriptions. At one non-sick appointment, we somehow ended up leaving this doctor's office with 2 prescriptions, for a healthy child?! Dr. Hogarth should give more consideration to good eating habits and a healthy lifestyle, especially as a pediatric doctor!

The front desk personnel (whom signed me in) also administered my B12 shot (no problem). She did not wash her hands before and after the B12 shot (from front desk to needle). However before the shot she did place gloves over both hands. No alcohol wipe on skin before insertion of needle. After needle removal, an apparent bubble of blood in shoulder area remained. No assistance with that at all. She just turn around and fill out paperwork (used gloves still on). I had to request bandaids to be placed over shot or something to wipe blood off. No attempt to assist in blood removal. She began looking and inquiring about bandaides. She left the room looking for bandaides - (still wearing used patience gloves). In her absence, I noticed a box Kleenex in the room so I removed several sheets and wiped the standing bubble blood from my shoulder. She returned with a bandaid (used gloves still on). Remove 1 glove from hand and placed the bandaide on my shoulder. This is not over. When placing the bandaide, she placed it over dry skin, not where the needle was inserted to prevent blood leak. ( It alarmed because - Normally there is no blood leak of this amount from any B12 shot I have ever taken). Needless to say: Sterilness, quality coustomer care, well being and , patient concern of medical hygiene was not on the agenda today. I hope they figure this out! And by the way - you guys can clean it up in there a little bit please. Wipe down the lobby and patience rooms.... Geesch!!! Give it a 2 rating because the lady was fairly pleasant.

I'm a first-timer to the Kelsey-Seybold system, and my initial experience was a good one. Calling their reservations hotline was a breeze; they take your particulars over the phone so you don't have to fill out forms when you get there. Luckily I was able to get an appointment quickly with the pediatrician I wanted. The receptionists were nice and efficiently got my file ready and my credit card on record (I paid out of pocket.*) The nurse who took my son's particulars was a sweetheart and also helped me get set up with their online services so I could see any results from our visit. The wait for the doc was long but worth it. Dr. Richard Byrd was very friendly and a non-alarmist (something I really appreciate!) answering all our questions, putting our minds at ease, doing a thorough physical exam, and confirming everything the Hong Kong doctors have said about my son. My faith in HK public health clinics is solidified! I'm now relieved that if we visit Houston in the future, my son has a doctor on hand in case something happens! -- *Fees for new patients start at $150 if you're curious.
