This was the best thing I have ever done to celebrate a birthday. SO much fun, I plan to do this every year until I'm no longer able to pedal a bike. And even then I'll make my friends pedal and take a riding seat. Seriously a fantastic time! read more

Super fun time!! Are you looking for a fun, unique (and safe) way to bar hop? Round up about a dozen friends, hop on the Big Yellow Bike and pedal your way to bars in the East Village. You're sure to have a blast and even burn a few extra calories in the process. The pedaling is actually not that much work. With that many people, it makes for a nice easy ride for the most part. The bike is totally powered by the people pedaling it, no backup engine at all. There is a driver, but he only operates the steering wheel and the brake. The drivers are always super nice (and patient lol!). They deserve a good tip. You can also hook into the speakers with your phone (or music player) and play your own tunes. The only drawback is that, per Iowa law, there is no alcohol allowed on the bike. But no worries, it's a short trip in between each bar. If you're looking for something different and tired of the usual party bus, give the bike a try. You'll like it! read more
