They're being called the "Starbucks of the sandwich store" with restaurants all over Spain, some in parts of the US with plans to expand all over the US and Europe. The restaurant specialized in montaditos, crunchy Spanish rolls baked to order and packed with traditional ingredients such as Serrano ham, Spanish tortilla, Chorizo sausage and Manchego cheese. The traditional 5-inch sandwiches that give the chain it's name some nights cost just €1, while beer is €2. The restaurants have a varied clientele with the ones located close to universities packed with students. Given the prices that's hardly a surprise! Ordering your food feels like a cross between Nando's and Argos where you write down everything you want on a little piece of paper with a little pen before proceeding to pay at the till. Someone will then call out your name at the top of their lungs from the kitchen so make it interesting and think of something fun for them to shout! Make sure you have dessert.
