Those numerous billboards with large bold font on I-75 really worked on us since we stopped and decided to check out Pecan Outlet. It was actually smaller than I'd pictured in my mind. There were tons of nuts for sale (as the name would imply) as well as citrus fruits, candies, and some silly souvenirs. Need a Florida mug with boobs on it? I liked how there were samples of oranges and grapefruits to try. I heard the boiled peanuts were pretty tasty. No issues with the restrooms. I wouldn't make it a particular point to stop, but if you need a break from your car and/or treats to eat or give, Pecan Outlet could help with that. read more

I bought a 1/4 bushel bag of oranges for $15, approximately 15 oranges. When I got home (Tennessee) I had to throw six oranges in the garbage that were rotten, and the others don't taste fresh at all. They look like rejects from an orchard. I got ripped off! read more

One of the last places driving into Georgia from Florida to buy fireworks. They have a ton of signs on the highway, and are located JUST off the exit, with more huge signs you can't possible miss. In addition to a large selection of your typical fireworks, they also sell Florida fruits, candies, and nuts as well as souvenir T-shirts, gator heads, and other tchotchke. Nothing here seemed particularly high quality or rare, but the staff were kind and helpful and the prices were low. read more

Very friendly staff. The fruits I tried were just right so I had to buy some. There's a variety of pecans flavored or non. I tried the cinnamon, the praline, the sweet & salty, & the original. All flavors were good enough to want more. So I bought those too. I bought the peach cider but I haven't had a chance to try it because I wanna save it for a special meal. The prices are about fair for what you'll find at most stands. This stand happens to also carry fireworks and some really nice wind chimes. Some other knock knacks can be found here too. read more

Would have given half of one star if possible. Dishonest and misleading advertising! Sign coming from Florida ALL clearly advertise "Pecans Shelled $5.99/lb.". When you arrive their billboard reads "Pecan Meal" instead - NOT shelled pecans as their interstate billboards ad reads. The man working denied and followed me after I complained and showed me a phone photo of their "local sign"!! He was rude and said many people " misread" the signs. I drove back and he clearly lied. Stopped to get shelled pecans advertised several places along the interstate but found out they are simply ground up pecans so pretty much false advertising! :-( picked up three items and dude behind the counter was quite rude for me just asking a simple question! Then did not give an itemized receipt so after back on the road saw that we were overcharged about a dollar because I know the prices of the items plus 7% sales tax and when you realize most of their customers come off the interstate right next to it you think well that's probably not just me it's happening to!! read more

Bathrooms were very dated and gross. My toddler saw the toilet seat and demanded I clean it. Dried blood...yuck.
