Rudy was the instructor. He was professional and thorough in walking through each step. He made sure everyone's questions were answered before moving on. If you contact One Beat you can request for him to either come to your office, house training or go to their Miramar location. One Beat provides a small medical emergency reference book, snacks and a compact barrier bag for use during an emergency situation where you need to provide CPR. The price went up. I believe it was $65, however I then used a 10% off promo code. There is plenty of parking, the faculty appears clean, there is an elevator to go to the second floor which is where the classroom is. The building is not far from I-75 which makes it easy to get to. Enjoy!

Struggling with keeping up with our daughters school standards in Kindergarten we were searching…read morefor any program that could help. Her school offered tutoring but in no way shape or form could present the curriculum or plan. Her confidence was low and every parent teacher meeting left us feeling helpless since we were doing everything we could to boost skills at home. A close friend of our reccomended Kumon at the Tower Shops after hearing our daughter was doing summer school instead of camp. We started her immediatly the next week and we were astonished at the mountains she had overcome during the summer. When the school year began she was not even phased at her classwork and in our household Kumon became mandatory before homework. You know "eat the frog first" kind of thinking. It is a lot of work on top of homework and at times we were concerned if she was working to hard. Than she started getting faster and faster at mathematical computations. She began reading harder and harder books. Her handwriting improved. Most importantly she became disciplined all her own. Looking forward to her next Kumon buck and getting dissapointed when she had not completed the work. She was confident and assertive in her classroom. The owner requires a sit down every six months and has an open appointment policy whenever we feel as though our daughter is struggling. She definitely a no nonsense woman but was always very helpful when we needed. As an unconventional family with mt husband being asian and adopted our latin and caucasian daughter we never experienced racism? The owner was nothing but helpful and even worked hard to find another Kumon in our new location. Thank you Mrs. Ireen and all the tutors that helped our daughter get to where shes at. Were happy to say our daughter is a Kumon kid!

I don't have any good recommendations about this place. It…read moreall begins in an office in the back of the facility where Ms. Farahana acts as a typical Salesperson. There is little to no communication between parents and staff. This place is ALL about $$$ not academics. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was the fact that she thinks that is OK to charge for services not rendered during COVID-19 pandemic. The governor ordered a "stay at home" and we couldn't leave the house. She still charges us because that's their policy. Even during a pandemic it's all about $$$$ Shame on you!!! I def don't recommend this location to anyone!!!

The school truly nurtures independence, curiosity, and confidence in its students. Over the years we've watched Jack grow not only academically but also personally, developing strong communication skills, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning. One of the most special opportunities recently was his participation in the MMUN (Montessori Model United Nations) conference in New York. Seeing students represent their schools and countries on an international stage at such a young age speaks volumes about the quality of education and encouragement they receive at Montessori Institute of Broward. The leadership at the school is exceptional. Ms. E, the principal, creates a warm, supportive environment where students feel valued and inspired. She truly leads with heart and vision. Jack's Grade 4 teacher, Ms. Kay, has also been outstanding--patient, dedicated, and deeply invested in her students' growth. She challenges them academically while also nurturing their confidence and character. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and inspiring school community. Montessori Institute of Broward has played a huge role in shaping Jack into the curious, confident young person he is becoming. Luke aged 5 is also thriving at MIB and i cant wait to see how he progresses.

I have seen so much positive growth academically, which I completely expected in this Montessori environment. What I did not expect was that my boys would gain so much independence and self-confidence. The teachers at this school work very diligently at empowering the children to work independently. All of the teachers are very committed to their students and to keeping the parents informed about their childrens' progress. If you are a parent that desires to be involved with what goes on at school, this is the place for you. There are a number of parent driven committee's that welcome parent's to donate their time and talents to the betterment of the school. MIB also conducts several informational workshops for parents so that we have the opportunity to see how the montessori process works and to ask questions about this learning method.
