His classroom was a relaxed environment where I could focus on my work and enjoy my music without disturbance. He offered opportunities for creativity and freedom for students to make calls on their projects. When I was nearing to exit the program, he gave me some reality checks about how the world would be outside of class and how it would be owning my own place. Mr. Means gave me good life skills and drafting skills and because of that, I was able to start my own business going successful for 2 years.

So when I called to make an appointment to enroll they told me the wait list was 3 years. Next they told me they were thinking about opening the same course on another campus. If you have a 3 year long wait list what is there to think about? Then I called on attending their cyber security program and the enrollment counselor told me the list is so lengthy she couldn't tell me how long it would be. Why not tell people upfront on your website your classes are full for some time to come so they don't start arranging their lives to attend just to find out it's not even possible.

NW Classen HS, home of the Knights, was my HS. Attended this HS for 4 years. But for me, it was where I realized I wanted to pursue higher education. Just have gotten out of ESL classes the year prior, NW Classen gave me a much needed confidence boost at the expense of other underachievers. I made quick progress with each passing years and in the end was top 3 of my graduating class, but could have been higher if it wasn't for the language barrier. Not being popular was what really helped me, but it didn't matter to me much. I didn't care if I fit in with others, a loner I guess. I would often had lunch by myself in the math classroom at noon. Thank you for the wonderful educators at NW Classen for instilling knowledge and giving me a good head start before college. When it was college time, I was more than ready academically. For those who feel not fitting in or being laughed at, just persevere because the winners are the people that get the last laugh.

If I could rate my small experience with La Petite Academy, I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I had…read morean appointment, was e-mailed an appointment confirmation, told there was an opening available for an infant and we had 1 day to try it out free. I went in for my appointment (where I was told I had to show an ID, but we clearly never even got that far), told them my name and that I was there for a 4:30 appointment. The two ladies at the front of the 3-ring circus told me that I did not have an appointment, and there was no opening for a child my age at all. As frustrating as that was, the lady explained to me further that she was the new director and didn't even know how the system worked. After speaking with another lady there was something mentioned about a child that left that went a few days a week, but nothing was ever asked about when or how often my child would need care before I was turned away again. I was eventually offered a tour while I was there, but after seeing how un-organized and poorly managed it was, decided I did not want to take my child there. No matter how long of a waiting list they had!

The director holds a high bar for her teachers, and therefore all of the teachers at this facility are also wonderful!

They'd apologize for being in your way, they'd apologize when they came to your door asking for baking soda. They have a lot o heart and there is a sincerity in Oklahomans that I will always admire. I took classes here when I lived in OKC and I didn't quite find the level of warmth here that I found in the Dallas school, however I did find that there was always a sincere effort to connect and to help me with the lessons that I was supposed to learn. I learned a lot about goal setting here, in that it comes down to you having to do it yourself and using your will. Maybe that's why I had to come to this school, the Dallas school may have coddled me a bit to much, but this school let me recognize I had to stand on my own two feet. I did meet some incredible people here and I did learn more about deepening my meditations and completing my goals. Even though I never finished the classes that I started here, I can say that in itself taught me a lot about why I don't complete things. I will definitely stop in and make contact with these folks whenever if ever if I visit OKC again.
