The facility informed me that their corporate office sets up the appointments and it can take 6 weeks to get a diagnostic appointment. So after that 6 week waiting window I started calling for updates. Sometimes I would leave a message and much more rarely an employee would actually pick up. They told me over and over again that they don't make the appointments and I just had to wait for corporate to contact us. Finally last week I started to get very impatient and started calling and leaving messages daily, yesterday, February 20th, someone finally picked up the phone. She said she had been getting my messages and her supervisor was supposed to call me back. I asked if it was possible for me to call corporate myself and this has been going on for over three months now. She gave me the number for corporate. I called them and they informed me they don't accept our insurance. After more than 14 weeks of constant calling and getting told over and over again to just wait it out. I don't understand how this can continue to happen. There are countless reviews on this company treating patients in this way and I would like to warn any parents seeking a diagnosis to look elsewhere. Our insurance hasn't changed since November, there is no reason they couldn't just tell us they don't accept Athem and we could have moved on. I would give this company zero stars if I could.

I was in occupational therapy in Florida and was healing well. I came back to Ohio in May and found a place that did PT. I was with them for 6 weeks, with no improvement. I found Jody thru google search because I was looking for someone that just did hand therapy. I came to Jody with very limited range of motion with my wrist, as well as a frozen shoulder. In a few visits, I was making noticeable improvement with my range of motion as well as pain! Jody spends an entire hour with me. She has her very experienced hands on me the entire time. It's like she can feel thru my skin and knows exactly how to treat me for each visit, and each one is different. I can honestly say that I recommend Jody Heyman 100%. She has given me the use of my hand and shoulder back. I am no longer in pain and its nice to be able to do the things that I enjoy that I was unable to do up until now. I am truly indebted to her. At our first visit they thoroughly explained how everything would work with my insurance, and then when we went in for the appointment we were in a little gym. My son worked with one therapist while I met with another (in the same room) to go over his complete history. He was working without even realizing it because he was having so much fun.
