I must say for a gluten free, paleo with organic produce, their food was delicious. The pizza bread was made with tapioca flour. Topping to bread ratio was a bit off but that's probably because I like thin crust pizzas. The shepherd's pie is made with butternut squash was very flavoursome, brownie was fudgy but the pecan pumpkin blondie stood out as the winner. The blondie is not the typical baked dessert blondie as it had the softest texture, almost pudding like. It has totally inspired me to search for the ultimate recipe and try baking it myself. I would totally order their meals if it didn't average out to about $12-$13/meal. There is a discount if you order in large quantities but when you have 5-6 meals a day this adds up very quickly. Great healthy option though if you're in the area and looking for a snack.

The crunchy coffee was my favourite. It is not that sweet, but it does have a good taste which is almost the same as the Blenz protein smoothie. The super acai is not sweet at all. Aside from their smoothie bar they sells a variety of supplements, vitamins, and other healthy products, so, we took the opportunity to buy some organic honey, tea, Apple cider, Vinegar, and protein coffee.

A bit overpriced though especially consider it's in Burnaby and Vancouver's prices are usually lower or a bit lower than NYC. This is the exact small price as a protein smoothie in Manhattan. It's good and satisfy your craving for something sweet and to fill you up as a healthier option, but it's not worth the money all the time. Maybe once in a blue moon if I'm around the area

I went into this location at 930pm as this is the only Body Energy Club that closes at 1030 on a Friday night. I went in to get the usual and one of the item is the liquid l carnitine. Upon paying for them there were two workers, one asian guy who I think makes smoothies and another guy with darker skin and long hair who I believe does cashier and customer service. I wish I knew his name, he was SO informative and very knowledgeable. I always get the liquid L'Carnitine as it gets into my system fast, he told me I should be taking 2-4 tbsp. I didn't know that and only been taking 2tbsp since summer as it states that on the bottle. He also suggested to take the pills as it lasts longer and told me how much to take. He also shared his experience with pill formed L carnitine when he was prepping for his show last year. We also talked about nutrition and how I dislike salads. He told me I just need to find a good salad dressing and wrote a dressing recipe down for me as he loves salad and how he makes his salad and salad dressing from scratch. I have never experienced such customer service or knowledge until yesterday. I have been to many locations and the staff has always been helpful, but yesterdays experience was something else. From the first day I came into the clinic I was treated with respect. I bought a package so each session was less expensive. Nobody pushed it on me.... It just made financial sense to do it that way. I was referred to Refresh by a good friend of mine who is a fitness instructor and has also gotten great results from Refresh. I have since then referred a few more friends that had nothing but positive things to say about the 'mother and daughter' who own the clinic so I don't know what side of the bed you woke up on Jane, but it is very unfortunate you need to attack a small family run business they way that you did. I have never gotten sick from a colonic. Money money money?? YEAH everything has a price tag does it not? LOL.. do you go to the grocery store and complain about the bill when you get your groceries? This is a BUSINESS.. We all pay the same.. There is a difference between constructive criticism and being just absolutely rude. Disgusting. When you say the people on here are all her friends... MAYBE... Because the 'mother daughter' are not these 'rude' people you have suggested they are. I in fact have become friends with Sandra over the last few years and I would never say I got a nasty impression from her or her daughter.... so get a grip woman, maybe you got sick cuz you were off your meds who knows.. I highly recommend Refresh. "Jane's" review is a joke I actually laughed.
