Peak offers decent therapy services. However, there is clearly a lot of sexism at PEAK. Men and Women are treated VERY differently. This includes double standards in meetings. Cody (therapist) especially, is clearly a misandrist and shows it when she puts rules on men like "you can't say "flip a b*tch" but anyone can say all the non-female curse words, including "M-F" etc... special words for special people. She let women do "check in" for 15 minutes, rambling about anything. Men she always cut off at 2 minutes, tops. other indicators too, like on the hoola hoop exercise, she said "Just out of curiosity, let's see how just the women do"-clearly assuming they would do better than the men. Like therapy isn't hard enough without some sexist psycho doing her own little experiments and enforcing some light apartheid system of rules- in therapy. I was physically attacked by another 'client' but he wasn't kicked out. I was kicked out for pointing out the cussing double standard-for questioning a female first policy that PEAK has, to put it mildly.
Meanwhile, Cody has no business being a therapist to ANYONE. she likely knows more ABOUT psychology than any other person there. But it doesn't matter since she's the UNHAPPIEST person there. You can't help anyone when you can't even smile. An PEAK is crap for keeping a selfish therapist who can't help herself and instead pushes a man-hating agenda on the most vulnerable patients they have.
ie not recommended.... it's more about feminism than therapy at PEAK. read more
