I think Peak P.T., Sherman, is awesome. I am four weeks in for low back therapy and already feel good and strong again. Connor is my P.T. adviser and he gently pushes but enough that you begin to challenge yourself to be stronger and work harder. I am grateful to the staff, the techs, Connor, my P.T. for encouraging me because I see a light ahead and I feel better than I have in years. I had just about given up on ever having less pain and being able to resume activities - this place put me on a path to get going again and enjoying life. I would encourage anyone who is seeking physical therapy to attend Peak P.T., Sherman. Very nice facilities and they truly care about seeing you improve. Each patient is important to the staff. When I am through, I will leave with the knowledge of what to do on my own to continue to feel better. read more

The actual therapy is good. The therapists are engaged and seemingly well qualified. My problem was with the accounting/billing department--located somewhere in oblivion. It took 3 months to receive a reimbursement for a copay overpay. It wasn't the 3 months that bothered me, but it was the run-around (lies?) that I got from the accounting dep't. At one point, I was forced to write a joint letter to my insurance company and to Peak, stating that I was being given the run-around and that Peak was not living up to their contractual agreements with the insurance company. In less than 2 weeks, I received the refund. It shouldn't have come to this!!!! Bottom Line: Despite the excellent therapy, I would never return to Peak. I'd find another vendor because of the bad taste in my mouth for Peak. read more

The outpatient physical therapy at Peak is done well. But their bookkeeping is the pits. They do not keep track of how much the patient pays in an understandable way. They need a summary of how much the patient has paid since the last bill and what the new charges are. read more

The rating is the inability to bill on a timely manner as well as giving false answers about billing! My first visit was March 15th and first bill was billed July, 22. When asked if insurance was paying, i was told yes, during the visits i asked a few times to let me know if it runs out! This way I could reduce our visits from three times a week to one! Turned out the insurance was not paying and hit me with a $1200.00 bill. To add insult to injury, I was told to get better insurance that would cover an ACL injury better then I have!!! That my insurance was a joke! Why would my insurance only cover 5 visits! lesson learned, I will do better job calling insurance company and not trusting who I am paying to help! Very sneaky! Not honest at the shernan location, for not informing me that they had no idea if I am covered! for me to check into it. They give me the impression they were helping and would inform me. Nope, no help informing me, but did tell me over and over, it's my fault and that I singed paper work that said i agree to pay them! I agreed for them to take advantage of me! The physical therapist are well trained and good people, but I feel like they all know what's going on in the billing department, and are fine with their process of setting us up to owe them $100's! Since I then I have found out I not the first this has happened to. Be prepared to be insulted over and over when you get billed and begin to ask questions! Good luck.... read more
