Peak Performance Therapy is terrific! As a former professional dancer, I have seen lots of physical therapists during my dance career and post-career years. In all of those years, I had only one truly exceptional PT experience prior to my experience at Peak Performance Therapy. I started working with Eric and Thomas at Peak Performance in 2020, based on the advice of my Sequim tai chi teacher who had a long career as a physical therapist and gave them an enthusiastic recommendation. My teacher wanted to see if they could help me with a hip injury that was hindering my tai chi practice. I soon realized I had found, not one, but two exceptional therapists at Peak Performance Therapy. It became clear during my sessions that Eric and Thomas understood the body at a profound level that came not just from PT training, but from their own personal movement journeys. Their commitment to understanding and addressing both my physical imbalances and ineffective mental habits resulted in an exercise regimen that resolved a 5 yr. old injury that I thought was probably irreparable. The regimen started with an emphasis on inner core work and then moved onto other highly specific exercises to support my healing process. Each exercise was explained clearly and precisely and questions from me were encouraged. They were very knowledgable about the aging process and helped me develop realistic expectations for my body at this moment in my aging process (68 yrs.). Beyond their exceptional and up-to-date expertise, I appreciated their unhurried attention and how well they listened to me - this made it easy to trust their recommendations. I had the best possible experience at Peak with therapists Eric and Shaunna. Over 20 years of dealing with shoulder pain I've seen many physical therapists, some gave minor relief and some just didn't make a difference at all and I've had too many pain injections. This time around (after a recent move to the area) I happened on to a great doctor, Loren Larson, who did surgery and then put me in the hands of Eric and Shaunna. Both were extremely patient with my slow progress while still nudging me along the way. They were caring and gentle, and able and willing to answer all my questions. Eric, in particular, was a wealth of information and always willing to show/teach me something new. I saw them for nine months until it was time for me to start self-care. Following a traumatic shoulder injury, and restorative surgery, my wife needed physical therapy to regain use of her shoulder and arm. The staff at Peak worked closely and in concert with her surgeon to implement her recovery plan. She is in her 11th week post surgery and 5th week out of her sling. She is steadily regaining range of motion in her shoulder and her independent movement of the affected arm continues to improve. The therapist is knowledgable and patiently explains the why and how of the recuperative exercises. The entire operation is client-centric, from the courtesy and competence of the office staff, to the knowledge and expertise of the therapists providing physical and occupational therapy. There is no substitute for people that love what they do and are privately run businesses that try harder. I worked with Aaron and he helped me SOLVE an issue I was having with my arm. This is not some State run garbage medical care that just pushes you out the door as fast as they bill your insurance. The people here are pros and wont give up on you till your issue is solved. I would highly recommend this place. Even if your insurance doesnt cover the treatment here....if you want a solution and results....you may just want to pay up and use their services regardless. I had 9 trigger release surgeries and needed my stitches removed as well as specific exercises needed for recovery. Peak Performance therapist Aaron Staeban has been absolutely what was needed. My surgical team at Mayo Florida has been most impressed with my recovery. I feel confident in my therapist and the plan we have laid out and are managing to. I cannot imagine a better team to get me recovered and back to a more normal life. Aaron also recommended items I could use to help me be more independent during my recovery. My first appointment with Peak Performance Therapy was last week. I was extremely impressed ! The staff was welcoming and professional, the facility is spotless, my Physical Therapist, Daniel, was very informative and knowledgeable. He was also respectful and kind. Like others who have written comments, I too have been to other physical therapy centers and the treatment was very inadequate and short lived. Peak Performance is a great treatment center. They addressed all of my back and hip issues and taught me how to continue to take care of myself to avoid injuries. Their staff is excellent, they educate you about your body mechanics and what you need to do to avoid injuries. Excellent therapy on my left shoulder. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. When doing the exercises, if my positioning wasn't quite what it should be, I was gently corrected or shown the right way of doing the exercise. Jason and Haley gave me a program with instructions to follow at home. The videos made it easy to understand and are invaluable to good posture and the correct way to do the exercises. I have had hip and shoulder rehab from them and in both cases the experience was excellent. They do have an 'open' rehab area which i get is not for everyone and I it was bit off putting to start with however I soon became accustom to it. Their receptionist where very helpful in accommodating and changing appointments when necessary. The therapists i worked with were knowledgeable, set realistic goals and kept me up to date on where my status was. I could not ask for a better rehab experience. read more

Last November I fell and dislocated my left shoulder and as I am also left-handed that presented a great problem for me. I started going to peak performance in January and I must say that the treatment I had was great. The young man Jason work on my hand and to get my nerves back working and Sara work with me on my shoulder I have now graduated from therapy and I'm doing great .As of now I am doing great there is so much more I could say about their help but everyone there was just awesome. read more

These guys are the best. They worked with you one-on-one and really listen to the patient. The exercises are designed to help with your specific injury. The PT staff are very professional and thorough in making sure you know what to do on your own (at home exercises). The front desk staff is very professional and friendly. Peak is the best physical therapy is the BEST! I had a knee replacement and somedays I haven't done all my exercises. These folks are compassionate and positive. While they push me they do not go too far. One day I went in having done too much the day before. Daniel, my physical therapist, noticed this before I even said anything.
