My wife got very bad altitude sickness after we stayed in Airbnb at 9500 feet above sea level. Her O2 saturation dropped to 60-70%. Called Peak oxygen after a particularly bad night and they dropped off oxygen concentrator within 30 min of the call. This made a huge difference in managing her symptoms. The machine was supplied with enough tubing to help 2 people so I got some oxygen as well. We both slept 2 nights with oxygen on. Really great experience and preferred to just leaving for lower altitude. We came out to Breck for our annual ski trip but this time I had just recovered from pneumonia and bronchitis a week earlier. I was worried that I would have difficulty acclimating so I ordered a unit from Peak Oxygen to minimize my downtime at the start of our trip. Peak Oxygen had the unit delivered to our condo before we had even landed in Denver and they picked it up for us as well. The machine was super easy to use and not only did it help me acclimate more quickly, but ALL of us used it post skiing to speed up our muscle recovery. The oxygen bar was a HUGE hit at our Vail wedding. We had 120 guests with 8 seats at the bar and it was constantly rotating with guests, there was rarely an empty seat. A high elevation wedding is no joke and although we live in Denver, the majority of our guests were coming from sea-level and the oxygen bar really invigorated them to keep the dancing and energy up all night! And as someone who care's about aesthetics, I really enjoyed the wooden structures the oxygen tanks were built into whereas some companies just have it in plastic-y containers that look cheap. Highly recommend Peak Oxygen for any high-altitude event, they even had finger oxygen monitors so you could SEE the difference in real time! I had never been skiing before, but my wife had been several times. She had always told me how impactful the oxygen (or lack of) is when being that high in the mountains (Breckenridge). Prior to arriving, she researched and found how oxygen bars can really assist with acclimating to the climate. While checking into our lodge, I asked the concierge about the oxygen bar(s). She responded that oxygen bars were great, but said if I really wanted the best experience with acclimating, then I needed "this" (and handed me a brochure for Peak Oxygen). I gave them a call and they picked up immediately and provided answers to all of our questions. Feeling great about the experience, I quickly signed up for an oxygen concentrator. They delivered it to my room door within 30 minutes. My wife is definitively able tell how effective it was - having been skiing many times before. She raved about it the entire trip, and told everyone about it when we got back home. She had never gone skiing without dealing with headaches prior to that. As for me, while I don't have a previous experience to pull from, I can simply say I never had any issues acclimating. The oxygen concentrator no doubt was a huge factor in that. Once we got ready to leave, they offered options to leave the machine at the front desk, or simply outside our hotel room - which we chose the latter. The customer service, professionalism, ease of delivery/pickup/use, and effectiveness was simply outstanding. Without question, when we return to Breckenridge, we will be using Peak Oxygen again. Wonderful company! I arrived in Keystone and was struggling to breathe, I felt really bad! I called to inquire about their services but we weren't able to check in to our place until 3pm. Kyle was super helpful. He took my information, quoted me a price and said as soon as we were able to check in they'd have a tank delivered. Within minutes of checking in I received a text asking if I was checked in - very shortly later, the tank arrived. They set it up for me and showed me how to use it. I arranged to keep the tank for the full visit and the price was appropriate. I will definitely use Peak Oxygen next visit to the ski resorts! Kyle and all of the Peak Oxygen employees are FANTASTIC and completely SAVED my ski trip to Breckinridge last week! I became completely overwhelmed by horrific altitude sickness the day we arrived in Breck. Suffered the worst headache of my life, nausea, unable to sleep for three days, etc. My family and friends had a great time skiing while I stayed in bed in a dark room. After researching local oxygen bars, and reading countless reviews, the consensus was clearly that they help temporarily but not long term, so you must continue going back repeatedly. Then I discovered Peak Oxygen, read all their fantastic reviews, and went to website, which clearly outlined pricing, benefits of oxygen therapy, etc. Called Kyle and he could not have been nicer.. answered my list of questions, explained pricing, asked about my symptoms and took so much time with me. Now, the most insane part- they had it delivered to my doorstep in less than 30mins!! I was shocked how quickly they got to me. Instructions were explained to me throughly and they helped me get set up. I can not stress this enough- I felt IMMEDIATE relief and within an half hour felt like a brand new person! I did order 2 sets of tubing in the event anyone else traveling with us developed any issues. After our arrival in Breckenridge, Colorado (9,970 feet above sea level), several days ago, my husband and I were having difficulty breathing, thinking and functioning normally, despite having taken medication to counteract altitude sickness. Thanks to Peak Oxygen's immediate and reassuring response to our call, we were furnished within hours with a modern, portable oxygen tank, a variety of cannulas sealed in sterile bags, and easy-to-understand instructions. Within less than an hour's use of the tank, our oxygen saturation increased from dangerously low levels to 99. What a relief it was to be able to recover so quickly, and be able to once again think clearly, move without heroic effort, and breathe freely! We are renting the tank for the remainder of our stay. There are essentially three businesses like this in Breckenridge. Last Monday night around 4 AM my son got altitude sickness I called all three oxygen companies. My first call back at 6 AM was from peak oxygen and they had a unit at my house by 8 AM they were wonderful. Never heard back from one of the other three and the final one did call back but not till like 9:30 AM after I already had the unit delivered from peak oxygen. What a great company. The elevation in Breckenridge hit my wife and daughter harder than expected, and I called at 6:30 on Saturday evening after they were closed and left my info with their calling service. Received an immediate call back from Dominic who set us up with a dual unit and it was delivered to our lodge at 7:45pm. Wasn't sure if the oxygen would really help, but both my wife and daughter were back to their normal selves the next day. We may avoid the higher elevation resorts in the future, but if we do come back we will definitely be using this service again. read more
