October 18, 2021 Came in looking for this specific brand of probiotic because I'm on 2 different medications that keep me...well, y'all know!!! And because I want them today I went ahead and bought these...$45 here. Amazon has the same exact thing for $31.50 (plus shipping) which won't be $13 sooo, yeah this place has a lot of good products and choices but, they stick it to you because they can; we're on an island! Am I paying for convenience? I dare say I am...and, I pay for that convenience when I want it now, like today. (See photo of Amazon prices) I was put off by it though so, i did a price comparison on a brand I use all the time, Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products. Here Meyers is $10.50 and same size (32oz) at Kroger's and Target, $9. (Walmart and Randall's doesn't sell this size) On the other hand and for example, Gaia Hemp CBD (see photo) is spot on in price as it on Gaia's www. Well, when I walked in he was on the phone and as I walked around she continued to stay on the phone did not acknowledge my presence. Eventually, she got off the phone walked by me and when I was asking her questions she looked at me like I was the stupidest person in the world. I've gone here a few times bc they carry the only Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice Cereal that I like. They have other grains/cereal variety and carry a lot of Bob's Red Mill that I can't find in Kroger or HEB, so that's a plus. The place can be pricey, but then again, these are products you normally won't find in said grocery stores, unless you order them online. One time, I bought dog treats here that were 20% off. To my dismay getting home, they were expired from 2 YEARS AGO. So I take it back and this one lady goes, "well, that's why they were on sale." MIND FLIPPIN BLOWN!!!!!!!! But she still gave me the full price back and that's all I wanted. Another bummer about this place: $5minimum card charge.
