Do Not Go Here! I have been a loyal client for about 2 years. 2 months ago Peaches Cleaners lost 11 pieces of clothing. I have talked with the owner during this time. Each conversation was 1) let me call the store, 2) I will call you back & 3) go to the store and look through all of the cloths. Never a call back. I asked the on-site employees each of the 5 times I talked with Tina if she called. The answer is always NO. Today 1/28/23 I was to meet Tina on-site in Pearland to resolve. Tina was a NO SHOW. The Peaches Cleaners employee called Tina. Tina offered $200 in credit. That is $18.18 each. I do not bring rags to get professionally cleaned. Drop off took a while but that was because the lady in front of me had about 80 items. I dropped off my 6 pants, dresses, and coats - which took just a few minutes (and I am new here). Picked up the next day after 5 - they had 2 ppl working and my clothes were perfect. Good customer service, great cleaning, and fair pricing. I will definitely come back and refer others here too! We had been using this cleaners since it opened. There used to be a really cool Asian (assuming) guy working there, now they have a RUDE hispanic (assuming) lady...that has her lil boyfriend in there for protection, when she treat the customers like CRAP. Customer service is how you KEEP your customers. Very dissatisfied with the change in prices. Now they take longer to bring your clothes back. I understand about the pandemic & things being different. No EXCUSE for TREATING your customers like that & for GOD'S SAKE put some damn clothes on. Very unprofessional! I found my happy place that won't break the bank. I'm going to learn the owner's name but what makes this special is the customer service. 1) my clothes were dry cleaned well. 2) I had deodorant stains in the pits and so the chemical treatment would not harm the fabric, the kind gentleman suggested to wait until next time to avoid damage. Did not want harsh treatment. 3) this is close to home 4) other yelp reviews helped me choose this place 5) The owner knew me and knew what I brought in. He wasn't just doing business. They do a good job on both laundry and dry cleaning, and generally have it ready the following afternoon. Prices are good, and Mick (?) always makes sure we are pleased with the results. This is the shortest relationship I've ever had with a dry cleaner (6 months to be exact)! I will not give Peaches another opportunity to lose and/or damage our clothes. My boyfriend and I were pleased to find a dry cleaner in the Pearland area that was reasonably priced. However, the honeymoon did not last long once they failed to complete a repair and lost 2 shirts. The shirts were found 2 weeks later so my boyfriend decided to give them another chance to make a mistake. The final straw was when they shredded the collar of one of his very expensive dress shirts. Yes! The collar was literally shredded open wide enough for you to stick your hand inside! They made a miserable attempt to repair the damage, thus drastically shortening the collar, and completely ruining the integrity of the shirt. It's not even possible to wear a tie with this shirt anymore! When we expressed our displeasure, the guy at the front counter (who originally told me he was Peaches, although the other Yelp reviews say his name is Nick) became flippant, attitudinal, and rude. He immediately wanted to pass us along to someone else - after we'd already waited a week. He completely tries to distance himself from the company every time a mistake is made. When we refused to be ignored or swept under the rug, he waved his hand at us in a "go away" gesture. Instead of trying to compensate us or defuse the horrible situation, he was quite argumentative, and went head-to-head with my boyfriend and me while other customers were in the store. Eventually, he rudely tossed a $20 bill at my boyfriend, and still continued to go back and forth with us, which only gave more of an opportunity for customers to hear how they had damaged and lost other items. We shared with "Nick" that we would be completing a Yelp review and he said (in front of other customers) "I don't care. Those reviews don't matter!" A complete disaster! I took my real suede Light tan jacket to Peaches Cleaners in Pearland. This is my first time using this cleaners and my last. I needed a snap replaced and decided to have it cleaned. I was told they had to send it out for cleaning and would take a week. I came back in a week the jacket was not ready. I came back a week later. I seen a jacket that was hanging on the rack the same style as mine with a lot of discoloration, I could see the texture of the suede appeared warn out/old, put through a wringer because the the shape was deformed. The jacket was placed on the pole, I said, that is not my jacket. The clerk insisted it was. I pulled the plastic off, the jacket was destroyed. The fabric was several colors. The suede was rough/hard and it had discoloration all over. I was upset told the clerk that is not how my jacket looked when left it. The jacket was beautiful and it was a very soft suede. I owned the jacket two years and only wore it 4 times. The clerk said I had to talk to the owner come back on Monday. I said no, you need to get her on the phone, with hesitation she called the owner name Tina. I spoke to Tina and told her my jacket was destroyed and she needed to compensate me for the damage. "Tina said, she did not clean my jacket". I said, it doesn't matter who cleaned it I left the jacket in your care so that makes you responsible. "Tina, told me I needed to read the back of my receipt that states she is not responsible for damages to leather/suede jacket and quilts". I said, you are responsible when you destroy a customer property left in your care. She said what's wrong with the jacket? I explained the color and texture was the problem. "Tina, said, there was nothing wrong with color but she needed to see the jacket". This conversation did not end well. I left the jacket. I was told I would get a call. No call. Today, (4/10), I went to Peaches to get my jacket. It was at the other location in Houston. I asked the clerk to call Tina. Spoke to her, "Tina said, nothing was wrong with the color and she did not destroy my jacket". She is on the phone loud talking me as before, claiming she was not responsible. I told her I was coming to see her to speak in person. Once, I got to the cleaners, I called the police because Tina has already told me two times she was not responsible for the damages to my jacket and she is not customer service friendly. Its not a part of her demeanor and I knew our interaction was not going to end well. The only contact I had with Tina was over the phone until I arrived with the police. The police asked if that was my jacket hanging on the pole? I said, yes. The officer said, it is damaged you can see the discoloration. I took the jacket off the hanger laid it on the counter, as I was explaining that the chemicals darken the fabric, "Tina said, the color was fine and she was not responsible". She was loud talking over me, I told her not to speak until I was done talking to officer. "Tina yelled and said, I had know right to speak to her that way". I said, you had no right destroying my jacket. "She said, I disrespected her by yelling at her and she had nothing further to say to me". I let her talk and when she was done, I explained why I yelled at her. She proceed to talk over me again, I held up one finger, I did not point at her. "Tina screamed don't you point your finger at me"! She started pointing at me, she almost touched me. I told Tina, in front of the officer if she touches me I was going to deck her Lil Ass. "Tina screamed I'm not scared of you"! I said, Tina don't be scared but if you touch me, I'm going to mop your Lil Ass all over this floor. The office told her to calm down several times. "Tina, said how dare you bring the police to my business. I never had this kind of problem until you"! I said, Tina you are a ignorant person, a sorry business owner, and mad because I'm standing up for my rights. The officer advised Tina the jacket was visibly damaged and I could sue her. "Tina said, she did not care, she was not responsible". I will have to take her to civil court to get compensated. Tina was most angry because I stood up for my rights by bringing the police and she felt I disrespected her. Tina is ignorant loud talking business owner that's irresponsible. Her excuse for the damage to my jacket, "depending on the color, fabric, and glue it will bleed and can change color". She showed us a suede dark brown jacket she cleaned with red pockets on the chest. A lot of the red dye bleed on the brown. "Tina said, that was not her fault, it states it on the back of her receipt". I said, you don't advise your customers of that, you think the owner of that jacket is not going to be upset? The reason for so much detail is for you to determine if you want to continue to patronize this business when the owner can became irate and combative. Suggestion: check items closely at pickup. I discovered the requested repairs were not done; however, the ticket was already in the trash. In this case, I am out of my money, and Nick says there is nothing he can do. Nick continued to tell me that "I wasn't listening to him". If I returned with the item, he couldn't trust that it was the original item. MISTAKES HAPPEN; DISAPPOINTED WITH NICK'S REACTION TO THIS SITUATION. Will not recommend. I brought in a suit along with a matching tie and pocket square. I realized after picking up the suit that the pocket square was missing. I initially made a phone call to see if they had it in the store. I was told that they would give me credit if I came into the store later that day. When I arrived at the cleaners, the only staff present was not fluent in English and told me to come back the next day. The following day, I had my girlfriend go in and inquire about the missing pocket square for me. The owner yelled at her and refused to give her a chance to talk because she was to busy. read more

As a business owner in Pearland my experience with this cleaners' owner has been shocking. A dress and jacket suit was damaged while in their care and after I returned the garments and pointed out the damages the owner accused me of altering and damaging my own suit. The owner immediately became abrupt, defensive and rude. My dress and jacket returned to me wrinkled, the lining in the jacket was bigger and longer than before and the dress had shrunk at least two dress sizes showing all indication the wrong dry cleaning application was applied. The owner attempted to repair the jacket but you cannot repair shrinkage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE! read more

Great cleaners, but NEVER open on time. For example open time is 7AM, but at 720 not open. This is the case whenever I go to drop something off in the morning. Very, very rude and frustrating. Not usually someone who leaves reviews, especially negative ones, but I'm here to warn everyone who might end up going here to try things out. I have a sister who lives in Pearland, and while visiting her, I dropped off a few of my dresses, boyfriend's suit jacket, dress shirt, tie, pocket square, and suit pants. Long story short, we got our dry cleaning back, and the pocket square was missing. I will admit there is some fault on my end as I should have checked that they marked each piece as received, and I should've checked to make sure I had every piece when I picked up. However, had the pocket square just been missing, and the dry cleaner staff stated that there was nothing they could do as we had no proof on our receipt that it was dropped off in the first place, we would have gone on our merry way thinking, "oh well... We can purchase another pocket square, and we shared some fault in this situation. Lesson learned." This however was not how things happened. When we noticed that the pocket square was missing, we called the dry cleaners to see if they had perhaps found it. The lady on the phone looked around for the greenish blue pocket square, and told us that she could not locate it and that she would credit us if we came into the store. We drove to the store that same day, only to meet with a different lady who did not speak English well. She could not understand what we were saying and kept asking us if we wanted to pick up. There was no other staff available, and when we asked her if she could perhaps call the person who was working earlier that day, she did not understand. In the end, the lady asked us to come back the next morning. The next morning, I went once again to this dry cleaners (which by the way, is not at all close to where I live), only to meet another lady who said that she would have to call her boss. The employee handed the phone over to me to speak with her boss, who abruptly told me, "We don't do credit for the napkins. When I go there later I look for it". I tried to explain that this was already my second time coming to the store just for this pocket square, but she would not let me speak and began to yell at me, "we don't credit for the napkins". Feeling quite annoyed by this point, I asked her if she could let me talk, AND OMG... she responded by saying, "NO, I VERY BUSY WITH CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW AND I DON'T HAVE TIME TO TALK TO YOU". Needless to say, I will NEVER, ever, come back to this dry cleaner and it is my strong opinion that you shouldn't either. Things happen, both customers and employees all make mistakes, and honestly it usually isn't the end of the world. However, the blatant disrespect that the owner and staff showed to me, my boyfriend, and our time really was unprofessional and ridiculous. read more
