The pathways are clean and the park itself is spaced out well. I believe the distance around each of the lakes is at least one mile. They also have pavilions, some wooded areas, jungle gyms, and a skate park. Their restrooms are also always clean. This is definitely a nice park to check out for walking or a family reunion and anything in between!

It can also be used for BMX bikes. I also seen some younger kids with scooters in there. I believe helmets and pads are needed, but no one is there to scold you. There was a nice crowd the other day and it was surprisingly chilly out. There are bleachers right outside the park for people like me who cant skate. The park consists of a giant bowl with different levels of depth. It also has concrete step-like things as well as a grind rail... not to mention a huge half pipe. Super cool park. I'm excited to go back w/ my fiance whenever it gets nicer. Just a note, no real bathrooms, only portajohns. Also there is a BMX track right next the skatepark. That also looked cool. The parking lot is huge so dont worry about parking.

Anymore my skating has kinda died and I started picking up biking and decided to stop here. I always come in the mornings and there's never anyone else here. The park definitely got some abuse from years ago mostly just some spray paint and trash but the ramps and everything are still in great shape. They have bleachers to chill out on and watch people. They have a massive half pipe that seems impossible to drop in on. Tons of bowls to pump around on. I mean this park has a little bit of everything for all skill groups. This is the park I learned to drop in at and I brought a board the other day and I still have it. It's just a fun time to come here and skate and bike around no matter the skill level. Big ups to southpark and all the sponsors that made this place possible to all the people around. It's a great park and has a lot of thought into it. I love coming here and I definitely recommend it if you haven't been yet or just looking for some new features to build skills. I'll definitely continue to return.

And all skate here! Skateboarding, roller skating, and inline skating ramps, rails, and pipes. Whether you're a beginner or pro there's space for you at Signal. They've got a crazy good selection of skate mags. The skate shop has all the latest gear including clothing and shoes. The vegan cafe has some good eats. They offer classes too. SKATEBOARDING IS NOT A CRIME!

The good news is that the staff members were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The room price was high, and on top of that, they tack on resort fees that offer absolutely no real value. The room itself was average at best, and the property feels quite dated. It completely lacked the upscale or relaxing "vibe" you typically look forward to when vacationing at a resort. To make matters worse, absolutely every activity comes at a steep additional cost. For example, bowling was $18.00 per game per person--which probably explains why the desk clerk told us we were the very first players they had seen in two days. Even mini-golf requires an extra charge, and the $30.00 per day (plus tax) valet parking fee feels highly excessive. If you are looking for a true resort vacation experience where you get what you pay for, you may want to look elsewhere.

Over the last several years I have visited Seven Springs a couple of times to use extra days I had…read moreon my Epic Day pass. Seven Springs is about a 3 hour drive each way for me. Getting to the resort is reasonable and while the parking is mostly free each time I have ended up parking in the East Lot which results in a long walk through the Main Lodge and then to the Ski Lodge; not a lot of fun in full ski gear and carrying my skis. Both of my trips were in early spring so the ski conditions were ok, but not great. The slopes had decent snow coverage but there were large stretches of dirt between the slopes. Seven Springs has a good lift system that gets you up the hill and to the slopes efficiently. The slopes near the Ski Lodge are a bit shorter and generally easier. The North Face slopes are a bit longer and more challenging. The general feeling at Seven Springs is that the slopes are very wide open with not a lot of trees near the slopes. Seven Springs is a decent place to ski, however I find that it is not really challenging or charming. From what I have heard it is a great place for families to have a ski vacation as the lodge is slopeside and there is plenty of family friendly activities available. For a one day trip it is just ok, but I would only go there if I need to use up a ski day on the Epic Pass. Of course if it was closer to me it would be more appealing, also I would expect that if the snow coverage is good it would also be more fun. With all that said a day skiing is still a great day, for me there are better options for skiing about the same distance away.

But I've been coming to this state park for years, especially for kayaking and birding. One summer we decided to keep kayaking until we had explored the entire perimeter of the lake. It took several trips, but we never finished because the lake is too vast. There's a great mix of vendors for rentals, food and boat rides, but there are still plenty of wild spaces to enjoy. Whether it's sailing, hiking, swimming, or kayaking, you will find some great recreational opportunities here.

The tennis complex has six courts, two of which have lighting available. The skate park looks to be in good shape as well. It was nice to have a good walk around on the trail system and there are public restrooms available though they were locked when I visited.
