I was advised by an employee to post my review in an appropriate channel rather than on Facebook…read more This occurred just over a year ago, and I just recently received a bill after a year, prompting my review. I had an acupuncture appointment at around 9:30 that morning and had to work at 11. This was my second visit at this facility. I went in for a 20 minute session, and she must have forgotten to set the timer to check on me. The timer was supposed to be set for a 10 minute check up, and a second 10 minute timer to end the session. After a bit, I started freaking out because it felt like it had been a WHILE. I then started counting in my head since there wasn't a clock to look at, and I can't stand up with needles in my feet to check my phone for the time. After I hit 20 minutes in my head, I started coughing really loudly to try to get her attention. After another 10 minutes she came in and removed the needles and never acknowledged she forgot about me or anything. I clocked into work at 11:10 and it was about a 10 minute drive. I was in there for about 75 minutes unable to move due to having needles all over my body, arms, and feet. I wouldn't have been upset if she had taken any amount of accountability, and apologized for the misunderstanding. We are all human and can make mistakes, it happens, but she straight up pretended it didn't happen. And I only just now got the bill a year later. I confirmed with someone at the office that my insurance got back to them in March of 2020. So between March 2020 until very recently, I had not yet received a bill. All in all, the first visit went well and as planned, however the second was a very traumatic experience. Others may have a very different experience, but I thought it important to share mine. As did the employee who suggested I leave a review in the appropriate channel. I encourage you to make sure you give yourself HOURS of time before your next task on the daily agenda. While I was lucky my employer was forgiving, some people cannot take the risk of being late to their job.
