Half n Half 2 different pizzas
Shey J.

Amazing pizza in this small cafe! They offer 2 different vegan cheese options for anyone looking for a vegan version. Plenty of pizzas to choose from, build your own options available and yummy dessert too!

This a Buil-your-own pizza that has spinach, basil, regular mozzarella, hemp dough, vegan "chorizo" and marinara sauce.

This is a new kind of pizza!! Puerto Rican ingredients meet creative homemade doughs like turmeric and pepper or hemp!! Peace n Loaf is THE vegan and vegeterian pizzeria in San Juan. This is the perfect place to get a dirty, healthy vegan pizza. They have choices like vegan sasauges, vegan chesse and local vegetables to top youe pizza's with. As well, they have regular cheese and different choices of salsas: like pesto, white sauce and regular marinara. And everything is FRESH. The Mediterranean is a must try. Also, if you are into intense ayurvedic flavors, the turmeric and pepper crust is perfection. Aside from the pizza and sandwich menu, you can build your own pizza. Which is great if you are going with someone who is not to vegan/vegeterian flavors because this is not a regular pizza. *** Peace n' Loaf is a familiar and casual place, perfect for a date, family evenings or just a solo lunch. Al tough you have to wait a little for the pizzas, both the service and the food are consistently excellent.

Amazing fresh pizza & the service is Excelente!!! I got a recomendation to this place by WOM & was not expecting much. It is Quality pizza and the dough is super thin, one of the best Ive tried ( im from Brooklyn, so thats allot). I love places that are vegetarian friendly not only vegan, since some of my friends dont really appreciate vegan cheese. I can recomend La Mediterranea, Super Veggie and Papa Caliente, always good with some fresh arugula as toping. It's a little hidden gem, Great ambience, outside of hipster areas. Its serious artesanal pizza with great customer service. If you love pizza, this is a must stop in San Juan.

Veggie pizza

Best pizza ever!!! We had supermax veggie pizza with turmeric based crust. Never had a more fresh and tasty pizza like this. Lady working there was very helpful and also told us about other places in San Juan area to try food at. Coconut water and lime mint drink were equally good. We are here for couple more days and sincerely hoping to get a chance to go back to this place before we fly out.

Stuffed pizza...mmmm...added mushrooms....mmmmmier....worth traveling across the island!

Wow...best. pizza. Review done, but just to elaborate...they use a very light flour because it is without some ingredients that make it heavy. So you don't feel bloated like you just ate bread. Plus they add hemp seed. The stuffed pizza was SO good. We added mushrooms ;) you can get a side of pesto or marinara to go with it because it has no sauce. Yum! Not too oily like pizza. Just the bomb.

Super Veggie

Why I didn't find this place sooner? Awesome pizza. Quality ingredients.

Good Stuff'd: two pieces of bread/dough and no sauce.

I wanted to order their vegetarian nachos and they did not have it. I'm confused as not why not all menu options would be available at all times. The menu that is picture is not what they have (a few items are blocked off). Anyway, the waiter was nice and he came up to me pretty quickly. However, I'm used to a waiter usually offering something to drink, and he did not. They have a Carribbean Cherry, Jamaica, Lemonade, and a Tamarind drink. In fact, after I placed my order, I had to ask him to see what drinks are there because theres none listed on the menu. Anyway, I ordered the Chori Peace's, and the Good Stuff'd. I was not aware that there is a build your own option. That also was not listed on the menu, and was only listed on a board at the counter which is hard to see if you're seated immediately. Anyway, I waited 45 mins and my Chori Peace's finally came out. I was not aware as to why there was so long of a wait, and I was not informed of any delays. There was only 2 other tables filled, and they had left about 10 minutes after I came. My pizza took a little over an hour to come. I'm not used to pizzas taking that long and I feel as if they should inform you that it will take a while, its just good customer service. As for the food itself, pretty bad. The breadsticks were dry, as was the pizza. The pizza is this weird construction of TWO pieces of bread and is also sauceless. (None of this was ever pointed out to me or written anywhere in the store or on the menu). The vegan chorizo was basically non existent. The only upside was the fact that when I checked out they asked me how it was and I told them how I felt. I literally took one bite of the pizza and couldn't stomach any more. They ended up not charging me. The owner ( I assume) listened to my concerns and asked me how I felt and took some notes. They were polite and the service was better than I would have expected.

Really cozy and nice place

Its a fine dining restaurant so the restaurant is really upscale but they also made the restaurant a bit cozy at the same time. The service was amazing as well. Im sorry I forgot his name but he paid really good attention and constantly checked on us especially for my allergies. The food was some of the most delicious food ive ever tasted, especially the risotto (10/10). There was one dish that my girlfriend didnt like but they went immediately to get her something new. Im only giving a 4 star because the dessert i had did have something I was allergic to despite reassurance which cause swollen lips and throwing up outside. Im not sure if the dessert was pre-made but having the allergens directly on the menu may help. Otherwise I completely recommend trying here.

The garlic bread was fine, not as good as the arancini. If you are hungry, get the chicken parm, my god it is the largest portion I have ever seen! I ate one of the 3 cutlets they served. Most times when a place gives a ton of food it is ok, well this was fabulous. Super thin, light breading that remained crispy and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The pizza was good as well. For dessert we had a well portioned flowerless chocolate cake which was paired with some vanilla bean ice cream. Divine! We sat in the restaurant portion near the secret door to the speakeasy so take your pick on what vibe you prefer. The wait staff were super helpful and responsive. We bought the kitchen staff a round for fun. Great experience, I recommend swinging by if you are in the neighborhood.

The food was all delicious, and reasonably priced at huge portion sizes, particularly the chicken parm! The pasta was homemade and the sauces were so good. The weakest things were the burrata and the meatballs. Everything arrived to the table quickly, especially the drinks! We would totally come back on a future trip and will be recommending to others visiting the island.

We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3.
