I really don't like PC World at all, I don't think they have any interest in their customers. I got my PC there and it wouldn't connect to PC World's website. I drove to the store, in order to give myself a break. I told the chap my problem and he gave me their website address. !!!!!!!!!!!!!. I went through it again and eventually he gave me a phone number. A friend later had problems and I was with him and we went into PC World as he'd purchased his laptop there. Same treatment. Assistants disappear and twenty minutes later tell you some one else is dealing with it. I really dislike bad service. read more

Awful servie at this store of pc world no idea if other stores are like it so wont slate pc world as a company. Went there with a friend to purchase a £580 laptop, instanly got what pc protection are you going to be using and the sell talk of buying a norton pacakge, when we refused it the man said he would go and get our laptop, that man disaapeared and another sch age boy came out, and told us our laptop couldnt be found. so friend chose another, how will you be paying cash my friend said, went to the till and again the lady tried to sell us the norton package.. Give this store a miss buying a new laptop should be a pleasure but using pc world was a nightmare it took us an hour to buy it, due to treatment and sales talk.. read more

I was enquiring about a new LCD TV, and which particular model would be appropriate. I was seen by a salesperson who clearly had £ sympbols in his eyes and was following his training, no doubt. He was consistently trying to link sell to me, by persuading me to purchase further, wholly unnecessary products at ridiculously inflated prices. In the end, I went to another outlet to purchase the TV. I hate this pushy salesman culture. That said, PC world has a selection of items available locally, although certainly not at the best prioce. Buy direct from another company on the internet and you will save considerably. read more

This is quite a nice big PC World, and the computers and accessories in there are very competitively priced. My favourite part of the store is the recent addition of the Apple computer area - they stock all the laptops and computers. I think this is a nice touch - Apple laptops are hard to find sometimes around the area. The staff are very knowledgeable, and the service is quick and efficient. read more

I've been shopping at PCWorld for many years due to the fact there isn't anything else that compares where you can walk into and pickup some the same day. With this said the experience when shopping there has always been ropey to say the least, some stuff know a fair bit, and some don't know anything, often they will read the back of the box to you, and its like I can read you know. Anyway, the products are also not that cheap, but if you want something same day then its alright, but I strongly believe your best off ordering offline. read more
