Went in today, looking to stretch to their expensive price (vs. online) for blank DVDS. Right, the cheapest source is £17.99 online, and I can stretch to £20 or so IF the shop has stock and is convenient. I'm buying a 100-pack, I expect a bulk discount and competitive pricing.
PC World seem to think that someone who obviously has a PC is going to ignore all price-comparison sites, google shopping search, etc, and pay a whopping £34.99 for the above. No!
Nor am I going to pay £110 for a £70 hard drive, and the list goes on.
Dinosaurs of the pre-internet age, these days you go into a shop in order to get superior service, correct advice, and if you get these, you don't mind paying a bit more, perhaps.

Says that they give really rubbish advice and satisfaction. Avoid, they suck. Go to John Lewis, they will give you a longer warranty, good service and won't rip you off - never knowingly undersold. PC World are very knowingly over-selling their entire stock. Vote with your wallets. read more
