I feel like I am literally in the movie Mars Attack every time I pop into a PC World!!!!!I know you don't believe me, but it is a fact that the staff in here are not human but aliens from another planet. They are a rare breed from a place far far beyond!!! Now...I have been on a bit of a voyage of discovery of late, a short one but a voyage none the less. Bit of business has brought me to the other pool, Noir pool!!! This neat little business estate which hosts world of PC has a plethora of other massive stores for you to skim through. I really am surprised at the diversity of what is on offer at this seaside town. Heck of a lot more than I anticipated that's for sure. Anyway ack to this haunt.....I swear as soon as I stepped into this store like Hyenas there was an orchestration of a wierd sort. With an eery symmetry heads popped up from various isles turning(exorcist like) to look at me, smiles being worn (batman joker smiles) like plastic ski masks..!!! At that moment if the screens had splashed...ATTACK OF THE PC WORLD EMPLOYEES!!!!!!" It would have been apt, sadly this was no zombie movie, but reality. So I tootled in, scouting laptops and potential future gadget accessories with which I could amuse myself. As I did so, I noticed the music was an absolute farce..... It was on one of the iPods blaring out some random stuff from the 20's as is the case in a lot of horror films when the character walks into an abandoned retail store of some kind. I changed it to MJ, and walked away. What I am about to tell you next actually happened I kid you not. After taking a few steps or more maybe, I noticed the music I had put on had gone. I turned sharply as again is the case in a lot of horror movies wide eyed quizzical look!!! Nothing!!!! Walking slowly back as you do, looking around ("Helloooo anybody there")I changed it again, and as soon as I did out popped these two heads from a couple of isles beyond me, again just staring at me then looking away!!! How bizarre is that, am I paranoid?? Or is this place just creepy!! I should document my next visit and put it up on youtube, it could be called PC world Psycho by Rana Hitchcock!! I'm glad to report I wasn't attacked by anyone and after browsing for a bit and purchasing a few things I departed, safely! The store is as loaded as they all are with most things tech savvy, if only they would stop hiring aliens to work in there the experience would be less creepy. read more
