Unless I agreed to the most expensive treatment he was not going to provide any reasonably competent dental care to me. I refused that treatment and he provided no relief. I wanted the cavity to be cleaned out and filled. While I was paying cash for the office visit, his staff tried to get me to sign a treatment plan listing the most expensive treatment. They said it did not obligate me to anything. I told them I did not want that treatment, that it would obligate me and I declined. The document specifically stated that I agreed to the treatment and price if I signed it. Dealing with Michael King DDS and his staff was a bad exerience. I have an audio recording of my conversations with King and his staff during that office visit which verifies my statements. I switched from Jackson Clinic North to Primary Care Bemis because my wife was using them. I have…read morehad a terrible time getting them to deign to refill my prescriptions. In the latest episode when I phoned in a refill I got a call the next day saying that Dr. Briley would like me to meet me. We haven't met because I work during most of his office hours. I wasn't told that my prescription wouldn't be refilled unless I did. Today I went to pick up my refill and found out that it had been denied. When I called their office to find out the reason why the secretary told me that there was no one in the office who could authorize my prescription refill for the next 2 weeks! What kind of medical office has no one around who can authorize a simple prescription refill for an entire 2 weeks?!! I have a 1 day supply left of my sleeping pills. I sleep terribly without them. I'm switching back to Jackson Clinic North, but the earliest appointment I could get was 1 month from now. For an entire month I'm going to get terrible sleep because these people can't refill a simple prescription. IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF PRESCRIPTION THAT NEEDS TO BE REFILLED DO NOT SEE THESE PEOPLE.
