It is known, that Marbin stops for gas daily (some days multiple times). We typically use google maps to locate the perfect station to visit. The choice is made by a complex calculation that factors in detour length and gas price. The BP station was a quick detour from the highway and I felt like the price of gas was competitive, but still very high (not their fault). The gas station stop turned into a living nightmare as soon as I walked inside the general store to look for a beverage. I was walking around the store, parched, scavenging aisle after aisle, cooler after cooler, row after row for water with bubbles, and to my astonishment, they did not carry a single brand of sparkling water. I could not believe my eyes!! I felt as if I was walking through a desert, dying of thirst, when suddenly, I breathed a sigh of relief as my eyes located a transparent carbonated beverage. The moment of relief quickly evaporated, much like a mirage of an oasis turns back into burning sand in a cartoon. I quickly came to my senses and realized that, indeed, I experienced a Fata Morgana! As my hands reached for bottle after bottle, I was left horrified to find that each see-through beverage I reached for, was packed with artificial sweeteners such as aspartame! BP, only built me up to tear me down! In conclusion, if you need gas go here, but as a member of the bubble water community I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it. 3/5 read more
