Only 4 instead of 5 stars because the tellers aren't always that friendly though not outright rude either. Also, i have went there over half a dozen times before they finally told me i don't have to fill out the form with every visit and that i can just tell them my number. As many times as i have sent money i would also think i would have more points but they don't seem to add all the time. Not sure though if this is the location issue or just with western union itself. Don't know if teller is supposed to input some info for me to get the points. Anyhow it is one of very few places opened 24hrs. They do have an atm inside. They sell metrocards. It's right near the q72 and q58 bus stops. Local or express.

I found that to be very rude & unethical because there's personal information on that check & you're placing a call about it & not even mention to me after, why that call was placed. She then ask me if the company is open to verify the check, which it was after 5pm, what business particularly in the payroll department would be available during a weekday after 5pm?!?! I proceeded to tell her, "no, it's after 5 & give me the check". I don't cash checks often, in fact hardly ever (I just deposit them in my account) however it was a check from a union & if the check passed through the reader successfully, you see I have been to a pay-o-matic before & never had a problem with a check, I just didn't understand all this additional verification. It seemed overzealous in my opinion.

Prolly the best check cashing place in the area. I come here at least once a month for western…read moreunion. Their new system is fast and efficient. The old process use to take forever. Now it's just a long receipt print out. The most important thing about their western union service, they don't blow it like many other places. At other western union spots, they frequently make a mistake on the recipient or sender's information and to have them correct it is a freakin bitch. The usual people work at Sunrise and they get the job done right.
