I purchased a…read morehalf share (13 weeks) not knowing how much food I would receive or what kind of food I would receive. Farming is unpredictable, it's impossible to know these things in advance. Every week the produce has been great. The produce is organic, fresh, and delicious. I've received produce that honestly I've never seen before. I was also concerned that I wouldn't be creative enough to find use for everything. That has not been an issue. I've made some amazing food with my share each week. If you have ever thought about a CSA, sign up. If you're struggling with the cost of produce at the grocery store, sign up. My only regret is that I only signed up for 13 weeks, not the full 26 weeks. I'm also concerned now about the winter, what will I eat when Clagett stops delivering delicious goodies every week?

Farmer Carrie is a wonderful person who answered all of my questions and put a smile on my face! Would recommend this farm to all people looking for their supply of local organic vegetables, or grass fed beef and lamb. I was also very interested in learning how suistainable farming is connected to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation!

It was super easy to get tickets, and we had a blast with all the activities. I really enjoyed everything from the tractor trailer hayride to swinging a rope to catch the fake bull horns, playing basketball, bowling, and of course, going through the corn maze and sliding down the tube slide. My dog loved the fresh air and the walk around the farm. The hot cider with a donut on top was a sweet treat, even if I had to dodge a few bees. It's not far from D.C., and I'll definitely be returning next year. You don't need kids to enjoy it--it's perfect for anyone with an inner child, friends looking for a fun outing, or even a day out with your pets. Plus, it was very affordable. Highly recommend!

I understand that the…read morecondition of the tulips wasn't within their control, but I did wish there had been a bit more to do in the area. That said, I was still able to pick some beautiful, healthy tulips. For context, we visited on the last Friday before the season ended. The service has been consistently good--this was my second time visiting the farm. They also had fresh strawberry donuts, which were a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious. As for pricing, the ticket included 5 tulips, which felt fair, but I do think all entry tickets should come with tulips. The website, however, was confusing. My friends purchased "double" tickets, and the way it was listed led us to believe something different, so they ended up buying more tickets than needed. The options were labeled 2, 4, 6, etc., which caused the confusion. It would've been clearer if it explicitly stated "Double (2 people)," "Double (4 people)," and so on. They definitely need to improve that for a smoother experience.

Extremely Disappointed - Poor Communication and No Accountability…read more As new homeowners, we were excited to move into a property with a pool, and according to the documents from the sale, T E Wood Farms was the original installer. Naturally, we reached out to them when it was time to open the pool this season. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. After multiple calls and even showing up in person at their facility, we were told, without any explanation, that they would no longer service our pool. Despite the receptionist being very kind and understanding each time we spoke with her, no one ever followed up on the messages she passed along. We even visited the business again in person and spoke with Donald, who we were told handles pools. Instead of helping, he spent time complaining about the previous owners and their child and offered no support. He couldn't even provide basic information like the blueprints or piping layout for the pool they installed. We ultimately had to hire another company to get the pool opened and discovered issues with it maintaining proper water levels. T E Wood Farms has been completely unhelpful in addressing or standing behind the work they originally did. At this point, we will not be working with them any further. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism over the past month has been incredibly disappointing. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend T E Wood Farms for any pool-related services.
