In my case there were two furkids that needed varying care. Why I would return to Freya +'s: + Responsive. I needed day care services and even evening services while I had to attend an all day conference and participate in an evening event for a few days. Freya answered my calls and texts before the care, during the care, and after the care. + Timely. Always showed up on time when I had to rush off to an event + Caring. I judge how my two dogs react when she returned the following day. Dogs do not lie and they were happy to see her return. + Helpful. Often I had to rush in and out of my lodge while I had to attend an event and Freya made sure she could help me exit as smoothly as possible and minimize my dogs' separation anxiety + Senior care experience. She was abused and then dumped at a shelter where she stayed for about a year before we got her and she's okay around dogs but is shy with people. We wanted an afternoon at the Aquarium--and Melissa's reviews were great, so we reserved time with her. She arranged her schedule to accommodate us and even made time the afternoon before to come by and take our girl for a walk, load her in her car for a short drive and a walk away from us, sent photos, and returned her. When Melissa came to pick up our girl, Abby's tail wagged so fast and her body wiggled. She gave Melissa a hug that she usually reserved for us! While we were at the Aquarium, we got lots of happy, relaxed dog photos and updated. Roscoe needs help several times a day to empty his bladder and bowels, so a regular kennel is not really an option for me. When I searching for a sitter, Kyle was the only one I found that was willing to work with a handicapped dog. When I go on vacation, Kyle stays over so Roscoe can be emptied at night and then early in the morning. Kyle has been 100% reliable and has even stayed over during some holidays when I needed him. I bought 10 classes for Obedience 1 and I like how you can go at your own pace with your dog while still getting the benefit of desensitizing him in the company of other dogs. They have given me such helpful tips for my dog that I'm already seeing small improvements. It's a marathon not a race but I'm so thankful for the guidance and help. My dog has never gone to any sort of obedience training and I think the set up and tools they use is far above what could be offered at a big box pet retailer. Not only do they have group classes but they have agility courses, private lessons, and special classes. I think the pricing is very reasonable and worth the investment in having good boys and good girls.
