A beautiful reminder of our Baby.
Devin W.

Dr Dunne came to our home and helped us say goodbye to our beloved 4-legged family member. She was kind, patient and very professional. She made us feel as at ease as you could be for such a situation. She was very accommodating, coming within a few hours notice. Being able to lovingly have your pet pass peacefully at home is what we wanted and what Dr Dunne provided. She is providing cremation and a personalized urn that she will personally deliver to us as well as the clay print she did for us in the pic I provided.

How we spent the last day, cuddled and loving

Dr. Dunne was an absolute godsend. We did not expect what happened to our beloved Anthony. I have severe anxiety and depression so the thought of my baby having to be carried into a place he hated to move on was about as gutwrencthing as losing him. Without going into big detail, her flexibility and genuine compassion were more touching than words can say. We got to enjoy and love on our precious little guy. When she arrived we also got to see our little head of house security in action one more time. He had lost ability to stand up after a stroke during the night, at 15, 6 weeks after the scariest seizure I've seen. He propped himself up and barked with all he had(it was a weaker higher bark) but he made it clear he was the protector. She was so wonderful about it too. She put us at ease, was so patient despite the hour, and made one who has a very hard time showing emotion, comfortable when I broke down after he passed, I left the room when could not hold baxck tears on his last day, so he read only love and happy in me, as much as I could. She explained the proccess so well, and really made us at ease with it, as much as you can. Throughout it she stopped at each step to be sure we were ready, never rushing. My precious puppy got to move on eating cheese from his papa and looking into eyes that loved him as he was being held. I could not have asked for anything more for him, aside from him still here. When i rescued him he would only eat from my hand for months, and his last meal and favorite treat were from my hand, and Dr Dunne is to thank for that She even let me help carry my best friend out, which was so important to me. The last thing I'll say, i could go on and on, is that the fur she clipped and left and the pawprint were helpful today so much. She was a positive in a dark day for us. For that we will be forever thankful.

Dr. Dunne is an angel on earth. She took one of the most difficult days and made it a peaceful and loving experience for our family. Her bedside manner is calm and comforting, and she lovingly held space for my family and I as we were saying goodbye to our dog, Bella. Deciding to let a fur baby go is never an easy decision, but I believe as pet owners, we know when it is truly time. If you're in a similar situation, I truly recommend Dr. Dunne. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

I'm convinced Dr Dunne is an earth angel. She's the sweetest and kindest person I've ever met. She is so empathetic and understanding. She came to put my dog to sleep on a Tuesday at 8pm. She did not rush me despite it being late in the evening and was very patient. She spent over 2 hours with me making sure I understood everything that was happening. She was able to reassure me I was making the right decision as I was struggling with immense guilt. She even hand delivered my dogs ashes to me on a Friday evening at 9:30! I can't recommend her enough!

We called Dr Dunn and she was able to accommodate our families hospice needs that evening. I realize that not everyone is fortunate enough to have this timing work out. Dr Dunn was exceedingly kind, compassionate and thoughtful. We cannot express how happy this very sad moment was for our family. She was very methodical in her explanations, her delivery was exactly what you could want in such difficult moments. Thank you Doctor Dunn. You are providing our community with a very special gift and we cannot express how much we appreciate you.

I don't even know where to begin. We made the difficult decision to put our 12 year old Black Lab, Bella, down. I knew I did not want to go to a clinic; I wanted her here in our living room, where she always laid, with a fire in the fireplace and soft music in the background. I wanted it to be calm, peaceful and respectful...that is what I ideally envisioned. Dr. Dunne was recommended by my neighbor and when I called her to schedule the appointment, she patiently listened as I regaled her with stories of Bella and voiced my concerns and anxiety about letting her go. I'm sure she has heard it all before but she was patient and gentle on the phone. When she arrived that morning, she sat on the living room floor with Bella and our 3 year old chocolate Lab, Phoebe. We talked for awhile until the girls settled down. Bella laid down right in front of Dr. Dunne and she explained exactly what would happen step by step. She even told us how Phoebe would react when Bella's spirit left her body and she was spot on. She did not rush us; she waited for our signal and encouraged us to love on her as long as we wished. After Bella passed, she pressed her paw into a clay heart she had brought with her and pressed her name letter by letter at the bottom of the heart. Three days later we received condolence card from Dr. Dunne. In it she relayed all the stories we had told her about Bella that afternoon along with The Rainbow Bridge story. It was so touching it brought me to tears. In the end, it was more special than I envisioned. I was so grateful to her for releasing my girl in such a peaceful beautiful way. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars because she really took a horrible event in my life and made it beautiful. Thank you very, very much Dr. Dunne...I am so grateful.

Before this month, my little dude Hector had been to a vet once in his life, only to get told that…read morethey weren't bunny experts, after they took my money. He had been relatively healthy up until this point, where five years later I had to scramble to find anyone has studied rabbits. Thankfully my fellow bunny mama suggested Northtown. They were quick to answer the phone, and when they heard that he was not doing well made a strong effort to get him in as soon as possible. It meant going in at 7pm at night, which worked with my day job hours. Thankfully there was a cancellation and we were able to be seen only a few minutes after arriving early for paperwork. The room is basic and clean, with a seat for the humans and a table for the pets. Hector is a feisty one, and the women were up for the challenge of scooping him out of his carrier for testing. Through temperature taking and weighing and observation he was handled gently. They ask a lot of questions to make sure that they give the proper care. We were given medication with thorough instructions and demonstration so that we would feel comfortable administering it on our own at home. The doctor welcomed all our questions and asked us to come back in two weeks to check his progress. Our appointment did have to get rescheduled to make sure that the bunny expert was on duty, and they had remembered our scheduling preferences so that they could hold the next available appointment until I called back in the morning. When we came back, waiting by the relaxing koi pond, the front desk let us check in from a distance so that we could relax after the car ride over. Again we were seen promptly and the team took great care to try to make things easy on him while still being thorough. They did decide to add a medicine for a separate issue and discussed what our options were before sending us off with another demonstration. Throughout this process, they have always been available and care about what is best for Hector. They even called the next day after his appointment to check up on him, though I was too busy working to answer. It is an immense relief to know that I now have a place that is affordable, reliable and genuinely cares about my boy. Two paws up!

Long-time client. Lost my cat today. Read this before you need them in a crisis…read more We've trusted Brighton-Eggert with a dog and three cats for years. The doctors are genuinely excellent -- no complaints there. But when my cat was actively dying and I desperately needed an appointment, they had nothing and sent me to urgent care or emergency care. The urgent care vet was limited in what he could do without my cat's full medical history and test results. Only Brighton-Eggert had it. Comprehensive blood work for the last few years, every 4-6 months. And also the result of the echocardiogram. When your fur baby is dying, you need compassion -- and that's exactly what was missing. A truly compassionate practice shows up for you in the worst moments. This wasn't that. The problems don't stop there. They've also stopped sending prescriptions to third-party pharmacies, a move that forces you to use their in-house pharmacy. They're not in the business of putting your pet first; they're in the business of protecting their revenue streams. Other reviews tell the same story: great vets, but a lack of compassion when you truly need them. If your pet is healthy, they're fine. But if you're facing a crisis, you may find that the compassion and continuity of care you're paying premium prices for simply isn't there. Premium pricing should come with premium support, at least compassionate support, when it matters most. It didn't for us. The doctors are genuinely excellent. But management has lost its way. Read the owner's responses to negative reviews and judge for yourself. We gave them our loyalty and our money without hesitation. What we needed in return was compassion. We didn't get it.
