Kelly comes in twice a day at the moment, feeds him, gives him a fresh bowl of water, takes him out for a walk and plays with him. She sends me regular updates/photos and it's great to see him having fun! From my initial enquiry through to the day-to-day stuff, Kelly has always been extremely professional and helpful. I happened upon this friendly shop a few years ago and on my first visit I mentioned to the lady…read morethat my dog was fussy with the food she would eat, so rather than advise me on which food to buy she gave me a load of samples and told me to see which one she liked and go from there. My dog took to one, which she still eats to this day. When returning to buy the food she also offered me to join the mailing list for the brand and said I would get offers through the post, which I did. I also tried to groomers recently and have now gone to them a few times. My dogs coat is extremely difficult to maintain and if I don't get to do it daily it gets matted very easily. The groomer there also said the dog has a very difficult coat so would be best to keep is as short as possible. I prefer her head a little longer and the groomer has always done her best to keep it longer than the body. A great personal service, they remember me when I go in store and are friendly and helpful.

The groomer charges around the normal amount of what I have paid and does a good job, it is usually easy to get an appointment with them.

I am a proud owner of one very sweet, very pampered greyhound - he's currently called Dave but…read moreprior to that he used to race at Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium, under the moniker 'Magical Climate'. He was actually quite good - although this is a bit of a surprise to me and my Mom, as he now spends his retirement loafing about on the sofa, begging for tripe sticks and being tickled under the chin. We got Dave from Daybreaks Kennels which is home to the Perry Barr Retired Greyhound Trust and which is run by an amazing woman called Ruth Boswell. Dave was a bit of a state when we first laid eyes on him - without wanting to lay on the schmaltz too much years of racing had rendered him threadbare of tail, gammy of tooth and with what one could only describe as a 'lean and hungry look'. However, with Ruth's care - and lashings of tripe sticks, Dave made really good progress and although I'm obviously biased I think its fair to say he is a really handsome, jolly dog now. As for Daybreaks itself - the kennels are open daily and you can arrange a viewing by phoning ahead. If you're feeling particularly soppy you can also check out their website where you will be greeted by photos of dogs who need a home. This is a brilliant place run by a dedicated, extremely lovely team - they are always happy to offer advice on homing procedure, guidance on the right sort of dog for you and will happily talk to you after you've taken your dog home. As well as the kennels there's a shop that sells collars, leads, beds, food, toys and well...all sorts really.

They also sell…read morea massive range of tripe sticks, chewy sticks and choc drops - according to the owner the latter proving popular with ladies on diets who buy them to munch on instead of, I dunno Maltesers or something. They also deliver which is great and saves me having to carry a 2-stone bag of organic dog food home on the bus. Staff are really nice and helpful and there's also a big selection of daft squeaky toys in a variety of mad shapes available. Other animals are catered for - rabbit food, cat treats, budgies bells etc are can be purchased and it's all very reasonably priced.

It is a nice setup inside and it is full of treats, toys and food for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds and rabbits. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful, they know what they are talking about and have previously recommended vets and grooming services to me before, which is always very handy to know. The prices are not too bad as I have been to more expensive pet stores in Birmingham before. I am not sure what the other items are like, but my cat certainly likes the cat food from here, so that is great. I would recommend this store to those in the area who have pets!

They have been on hand to walk him regularly, whether it be a short walk locally to me or taking him for a longer one at their field when I'm working a long day. I know he is in excellent hands. Extra bonus that they have a secure spacious field where they can take him to and let him off for a good run. I have peace of mind knowing he is getting the exercise he needs and his recall is has drastically improved since I've been using them.

Happy days again. So after weaning him on to a high quality dog food I found that no matter have expensive and highly rated these thing are , nothing seemed to suit him. Not to be to descriptive he was very loose. Then I rembered TPMS and with in day of using the raw food magic happened.he was so much better, put on proper weight and is now in a fantastic condition.I would highly recommend TPMS for all your dog needs ,if you have any doubts or questions about their products give them I call they have a great knowledge of all your let's dietery needs and are so helpful.
