There was no real flow in the dining area. No server came to our tables and I had to go to the bar anytime that I wanted service. The food menu was extremely brief and it did not match the online menu. The food that was served was warm and of satisfactory quality, but nothing fancy. More fun food items would enhance the experience.

Absolutely love Paws and Pints! Food is good, atmosphere is fun! Love going to the summer events they have. Ace always gets his zoomies out and comes home tired! Staff really get to know the dogs and are always showing them love. Shoutout to Katie and Max! :)

Birria tacos on the patio watching other people's pups play

Oh my gosh these birria tacos from Paws & Pints are amazing! Sans cilantro, of course cause yuck! I love coming out here and throwing the ball around for the dogs - none of which are mine, lol - while I wait for my food, and then for a little while after I eat as well. It's so much fun to meet all these different kinds of dogs and watch them play during lunch, and they have great music playing to boot

My dog Luna absolutely loves it here! We have an unlimited membership, and often come multiple times a week. The inside dog park is awesome when the weather is bad, and when it snows I can let her run in the snow while watching from inside the warmth. The restaurant has AMAZING food, especially the Mac and cheese. The bar has tons of options and really good deals, their house made "howlers" and Lotus energy drinks are super good. Luna loves their doggie menu. The store has a wide selection of items, with tons of great deals. Daycare, boarding, and grooming are amazing as well. I love their themed days and parties, such as the Glow in the dark foam party.

Street tacos--pretty but plain

What a fun place for dogs & owners! We went with our son & dog on a beautiful day! His dog immediately went to play! Lots of tennis balls & room to run! We ate outside & his dog climbed over the fence & so we leashed him to stay! Guys enjoyed their beers & chicken sandwiches. Fries were tasty, too! I had the street tacos carne asada and they were rather plain. Very pretty though! The soft corn shells fell apart. Next time I will try something else. Service was good & the place was clean. I only smelled a bit of dog urine in the inside play room which was amazing for how many dogs pass through. We'd like to come with a great big area is open because our son's dog is quite the runner !

Ruby Sue is tiny so she thinks she should be on top of everything to get a view of all the other dogs and humans.

We love this place! We have used the grooming, lodging, dog park, the bar, and yesterday the restaurant. I highly recommend the eggs, spinach cheese, breakfast sandwich, the best I've ever had. I just wish I would've found it sooner. Highly recommend.

Still our favorite place to be! Celebrated Hemp and Hounds. The THC drinks were fantastic. Service was on point as always and what is better than a room full of dogs??

We had a fun time meeting our friends and their dog for dinner and just hanging out. The facility is really clean and well managed, there is a ton of things to do with your dog here. I thought the beer selection was great, but the food is fairly basic bar food. If you are coming here for a date, plan to eat somewhere else. I thought the amenities here are amazing for your pet... grooming, training, dog park, etc. Overall, a fun time and a great business model.

Wow! This was the best dog park bar we have been to! The size and layout was perfect. There was so much space for the pups to run around. The building was already massive and very nice, but then you can go out past another gate and there is a huge grassy area with a path to walk along and so many more fun places for the pups to play. Very impressed. Highly recommend. The beer selection was great and when we went to the dining section after we were done playing, the food was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10. I hope we are passing by again one day so we can stop by. So fun!

Been here a couple times now. The first actually was for a Yelp event and had a good time. The second time I also got to bring my pup and although she is shy she had a really good time. We arrived on a morning where they were having a party so although we paid a little more than normal to get in we had just as much fun listening to the live music and enjoying the atmosphere. The first time I was here the dog yard was not yet done. Now it was fully open and ready to run. We took my dog out into the yard and it was even still warm enough for the splash pad. There was lots of sniffing and fun to be had. We decided to sit and enjoy the warm weather. The outside patio area is pretty small so the live music set up was plenty loud enough for everyone to hear. The waitress was kind and quickly to help us. We ordered off the breakfast menu and had way more food than expected. My eyes were defiantly bigger than my stomach. My girlfriend enjoyed the breakfast nachos that had scrambled eggs on top. Fried flour tortilla chips, cheese sauce, with salsa, chorizo gravy, scrambled eggs and chihuahua cheese. She let me try and few bites which were good. I had the Huevos Rancheros. They ask how you want your eggs but I had two sunny side eggs with chorizo over fried potatoes, peppers, onions and salsa. I had way more potatoes than eggs which was part of why i was stealing eggs from my girl friend. Over all the food was really good. Don't worry about your pet, you can purchase food for your doggo, but I had my own treats with me for her. We enjoyed a couple drinks and had a good time at the park. We would have staied all day to watch the bands but it was still early, and we had other plans. Our pay to get in would have let us back in but I lived too far away for a trip back otherwise I would have taken advantage.

So happy this Paws & Pints Opened! It's a cute and fun place to take the pups! They have a huge playground for large and small dogs. Can't wait for the other half to open with bridges and more doggy fun areas! Best part is the humans can enjoys drinks, sports, and food in the restaurant area while the pups are playing! The restaurant is split with an indoor and outdoor seating area. Indoor you can't have the dogs in.But in the outdoor seating you can. Another great part is the doggy menu! So cute! Cookie loves her beef stew that had cooked ground beef, carrots and peas. The dog play areas are not only split between small and big dogs but, they have it split for indoor and outdoor so you never have to worry about your pups getting too hot. The play areas has Bark Guards that ensure your pups are safe and clean up after your pups. They also sanitize and clean the spot that was dirtied! Paws & Pints offers a wide choice of daycare times for you pup, Doggy Hotel, Grooming, Training, AND Pet Store! It's a one stop place! Highly recommend! Will definitely go there and try out more of the human menu and have Cookie try out the doggy Menu!

I adore this place & been coming since the day they opened. Although it's not often I come hungry & get to enjoy the food. Finally made some time to enjoy a meal while the dog was getting groomed & absolutely not disappointed. This was a huge portion, full of flavor & fresh! I'll definitely be making more time to try other items in the future.

Our first time at Paws and Pints and we didn't know what to really expect! Our pup, Daisy-May is a pretty timid, but friendly girl. She's a little over a year old, and she's been in our lives only since this past September, but we thought to try and get her out of her comfort zone and see if socialization could benefit her. She was definitely a bit timid at first, but as the night progressed she truly came into her own! We were so happily surprised!!! The service at Paws and Pints is also wonderful. We arrived and unfortunately had forgotten Daisy's immunization records, so we did have to drive back home and come all the way back to enter. We were so thankful the front desk rep was patient with us during this time. The attendants in Paws and Pints are also very attentive. Although it was our first time there, I thought it'd be best to have an extra eye on Daisy, but in the future, I feel like I could be laxer enough to let my dog roam without my extra supervision. The food was great too, a little pricey, but for bar food I was impressed. Overall, this place has a wonderful atmosphere. This is a place where if you love dogs and a cold drink, you're absolutely in luck.

Poor communication, didn't ask specifically what they needed before coming, which result in missing an event.

It has its own parking lot with 21 spots so good parking. There are apartment buildings on both sides and I believe you can park there or on the street if the parking lot is full. What I really love about this dog park that is different from all the ones I've frequented in Des Moines and Ankeny was that they have bathrooms (for humans)! It's to the right of the dog park entrance and clean and convenient. They also have drinking fountains available in between. As you walk into the park, there is a large dog area and a small dog area which is great. We obviously checked out the large dog area. There is a height limit for the small dog area as you can see in the pics. The whole park is about 4 acres and has concrete walking paths that go around the park and also to the back entrance (yes, there are 2 entrances!). Each entrance has a water fountain and there's even 1 in the middle of the park so your dog doesn't have to fight for water and you can keep them very hydrated! There's also a shade structure right in the middle and a couple benches. Dog waste stations and bags are provided too. You do need to pay for a pass that can be found on the website but it's very easy to sign up. Overall, the park isn't as big as Raccoon River Dog Park or the Ankeny Dog Park but it still has plenty of green spaces for the doggies to run around, play, and do their business and still has some good extra ammenities. We will definitely come back again!

Rules are enforced between the people and animal control who show up within minutes. What I would fix. First front gate has a big gap and my dog got out on my second visit, second lock the gate between the small section and the large dog section. My dog almost got out and into the large dig section when I did not want to commit to 8 acres of time and fun. There is zero reason to not walk around if you want to switch sections, and double gates should always be in place before someone comes or goes. Comment. Where I'm front you have to get a dog license and go get it you prove you have current rabies vaccinations. Here you only do that to use the dog park. This leaves much of the city not covered for rabies, no income to that dept, and stress to dog park staff to enforce the required permit to use the park. If I were the city I would investigate how the majority of other parks do it. Amazing place! I was very pleased with it.
