She is disciplined, kind, gentle, supportive, and is a fantastically astute observer of the owner/dog interaction. She never makes you feel stupid, and knows how to use mistakes to teach and build confidence. She is a gifted instructor. I drive round trip about 2-1/2 hours for each class, and it is completely worth it. I am so very, very grateful to have found North Star Dog Training. I highly recommend this school.

Once there, the vet and staff came out to us. Communication was clear, timely, helpful, and care from front desk to LVT to vet was excellent. When we picked up our pup in the afternoon, not only was our pup looking much better, meds and directions were all ready and the vet came out to help load up. Scary, rough day, good outcome, great care start to finish. Thank you.

I am editing my review from one star to three because, after speaking with the veterinarian, I…read morefinally had a conversation where I felt heard and she will be following up with her staff on what happened. I highly recommend Yvette Lahaye, because she is an impeccable DVM who has given loving care to my pets over the last 8 years that I have been a client. That said there could be improvements with the client-facing staff at the clinic. The receptionist made an error and was unable to put my appointment in while I was on the phone with her, but said she was going to add it right after we got off the phone. I confirmed the date I had in my calendar and then hung up. When I arrived on the date in my calendar, they told me I had the appointment wrong. They said I could wait and see If they could fit me in. I waited for 30 minutes before being told to leave. The staff were stressed due to multiple emergencies happening at the Clinic. They also were angry because I was talking to my friend while waiting and told her what happened (Mind you I just explained the situation and did not speak poorly of them to my friend. I only explained the annoying situation). After that they told me I should find a new vet because I asked for some accountability for their error and the fact that my cat had to travel 4 hours in the car, I spent 40$ on gas and I had to arrange for respite care which cost 90$. The client-facing staff also ganged up on me with 4 people. Katie Foye was particularly unprofessiona, standing in the back making faces, whispering to co-workers, and shaking her head the whole time I was explaining my predicament and how I was feeling. The whole situating felt very gaslighting and I felt like I was dealing with high school bullies.

He not only helped her with an alternative treatment, but when she was stricken with debilitating arthritis last year, he was able to treat her and added many months of quality time for her. He is gentle, knowledgeable and listens. Just today he took time away from his family (during a long holiday weekend) to see my ailing cat. He's a treasure and I tell anyone who has a beloved pet that they cannot do better for their animal's well-being (and their own peace of mind) than to visit Dr. Herzig at Full Circle Veterinary.
