They were not Wolf-certified but claimed to be familiar with Wolf products. Suffice it to say, I was charged for an incorrect diagnosis, an unnecessary part, and labor that did not resolve the problem. With Wolf ovens, costs are high, so this was a frustrating and expensive lesson. After a series of cancellations and a runaround about their availability, I decided not to invite them back. That's when I turned to Akrit. I emailed them on a Sunday and received a call Monday morning. The technician was at my house within an hour and a half. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the correct part on hand, and replaced it on the spot -- all while walking me through my oven and range and educating me on things I hadn't known before. He & I are ex-military, so we understood each other. Justin was prompt with his arrival, he was frank with his assessment and did not sugar coat the problem, but most satisfying was his efficient and thorough repairs. Being a former Sears appliance sales person 20 years ago, I learned to purchase an extended warranty. I learned first hand that people are shocked at the cost of the parts. People expect appliance repairs to be cheap, they often are not. Often parts are sold as a kit, and a kit can contain many parts and often you only need 1 part, but you must purchase the kit.
