They are always very respectful to my mother and aunt. I previously posted a much more detailed review but somehow it ended up deleted. to make a long story short its hard to find a place that values and respects female customers and I refuse to send my mother to other FFLs. Love this place. Great staff. Really low pressure if you buy from them great if you don't they are okay with that too. People seem to think gun store staff need to be flashy and in your face and know everything. Please remember these people work with guns day after day and deep with paper work all the time. He has resources and contacts others do not. Outstanding Guy. He is really concerned with safety and tries to make sure the customer gets what they pay for and everybody had a fair deal. I don't want to set him up for scammers but he fixed a problem that was probably of my own making. I would deal with this guy anytime he has something I want/need. Do not go here. Go to Bass Pro instead. I support smaller local businesses but not bad ones. They lie and sell defective products. Small, dirty extremely unprofessional. I went to Bass Pro the next day and replaced or say, bought from a huge selection with professional, courteous help at a better price too. read more

I was looking for a specific gun and found a variant that I would have considered, but I was shopping around and Pauls guns was $400 more than anywhere else. I was also interested in a knife that was significantly overpriced compared to other places I looked. Finally I don't feel like the guy there was really interested in selling me anything, he was totally disinterested in answering my questions. read more

In June 2015, a friend called and said he had bought a "Rock River LAR-15" from "Paul's Guns" in Sebastian, Florida. He advised me "Paul's" had a sale on the Gun. I called the shop twice and inquired about the "Rock River LAR-15's they had. On the second call "Chuck" told me he still had them in stock. I explained I was driving across the state 2 hours to see the rifle. When I arrived "Steve" greeted me and I asked to see the Rock River LAR-15. He handed me the rifle and it just did not look right. I asked him why it was so heavily discounted. His response ... "Well it has an American Tactical Upper!" It turns out that the only thing about this rifle that was "Rock River" was the lower receiver. It was in no way an actual "Rock River LAR-15." When a customer asks to see a specific gun by "Maker and Model", you do not hand them a gun you built yourself with a wide assortment of parts and represent it as something it is not!! If they will do this to a customer ... what else would they do? I would not buy underwear from this place!! read more

I've been shopping here for 20 years. When buying, Paul always has the best prices. When selling, Paul offers a reasonable price, up to 100% more than the rip off artists in Gifford offer. My Father dealt with Paul exclusively for nearly 30 years. I will deal with him until the business closes, or I die. Paul knows his firearms. I was looking at a pistol. He observed my hand size, the pistol size, and my grip style. He then showed me a pistol that settled into my hand like it had been molded there. That is service! read more
