We
went there on a Saturday night. In the whole of the very pretty Restaurant was
only one other table occupied, more guests were sitting on the terrace. We were
not greeted, despite the fact there were four waiters standing behind the
counter. We approached the group, they were all somewhat disinterested. We felt
like intruders. Never mind, after a short discussion we were seated at a table
with a great view. Our waitress seemed scared of us, she was shy but friendly.
We ordered a bottle of water to start with. We never got the water. When a
different waiter came to our table to take our orders we asked whether he might
be so kind to double-check what happened to our water. He responded, he is
aware we ordered water but we are not the only guests who ordered something to
drink. Obviously he is not trained to be a waiter or simply not up to the task.
His response is not what I expect at a Restaurant. The pasta dishes we ordered
were cooked deliciously. The Restaurant must employ a passionate chef. Poor
him, the front of house team destroys all of his good intentions and does not
complement his work. Due to the unwelcoming attitude of the wait staff we have
not had a good time but felt like intruders the whole night. read more
