What a cute little thrift store! Lots of really nice things. From clothing, shoes, coats,…read morehousewares and even some pet stuff. The prices are very good, most things are $2-$3 including clothing. There is one brand name clothing rack at the front which was a little more expensive but still very reasonable, $10 for lulus! The best bast is that all the profits got to support the animal sanctuary! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I can't say enough good things about this vet!! We were desperate, we'd just arrived in Penticton…read moreand my dog was bit by another dog in the leg, she needed a bunch of stitches, her leg was a mess. Dr. Brar was amazing!! Even though it was 7:30 at night, and he was busy with another emergency dog, he saw my dog Tallulah and was able to exam, clean and wrap her leg up for the night. He gave her meds till the morning when we came at 8:00 am for surgery. All Amazing!! The surgery went well, Dr. Brar stitched her up, she was given amazing care. The staff were very kind and let me go in the back post surgery to see her stitches and discussed her wound and after care. We were given meds and instructions of home care. Wow!!! From beginning to end. We went back for follow up 3 times before our trip was over. Each time amazing! Each time other folks in the waiting room were bragging how great Dr. Brar was with their pet. I'm just so grateful for the emergency care, and follow up, my dog is on the mend!! Thank you!! Side note: they processed the pet insurance for me too! All very easy.

For years I  have had dogs, and for years I have always wished that I had 'one of those dogs'…read more We all know what I mean by 'those dogs'; the behaved ones, the ok on a leash and doesn't pull you ones, the you can take anywhere ones, the ones that aren't an embarrassment. So before the arrival of my Irish Terrier puppy came I armed myself with all of the knowledge of the breed, I had made the choice and knew from day one that puppy training was not an option but a must for this dare devil dog. When Roots came we started with Puppy Training at Bosley's with Shannon from Yoga Dog, it was at the puppy stage I soon realized it was more about what we do as owners , than pulling the lucky straw. Roots and I continued with Shannon at Yoga Dog with agility classes, not for the sport but rather for the active training and bonding it provided, never mind it is a great form of constructive exercise for my Terrier and teaches him to be around other dogs. It wasn't that the dogs came behaving a certain way, but rather about what we do as owners,  I was very fortunate to have found Shannon and her services, I can honestly say that I now have 'one of those dogs'

I don't think the hot spots hurt him but they are uncomfortable and cause no stop itching. I ended up on vet food finally and it made no difference when compared to the Walkmart bargin basement food. Bruce at Pawpas got me onto their Original Dog Food, which is chicken based. Within one month my dogs coat had returned and the hot spots gone! Another month after that and we were able to take him off his thyroid medication! I will never be able to thanks Pawpas enough, they gave me my dog back. Also, they deliver the food right to the door. Thanks again and good luck Bruce!
