Was here earlier in the week to see a basketball game and had a very good time. We were seated on the second level but the place is small enough that you still close enough to the action on the court. The seats are comfortable and the aisles allow easy access even when you have to walk past other occupied seats. To eat we got a couple of 1/3lb Hoffy brand Bruin Dogs that tasted pretty good. We also got a soft pretzel to try and a soft drink. The condiment station had mustard, ketchup, relish, and chopped onions so some good options. The halftime we tried one of the food trucks Creamy Boys out of Hermosa Beach. Their Hokey Pokey, a Honeycomb Toffee flavor, was really good. Parking was pretty easy are there were lots of people directing you to the available lot. Overall a great experience

pretty easy ticketing process, all seats have a fairly good view, and lots of bathrooms! always kept very clean. such a great atmosphere, i would highly recommend!

Back @ Pauley Pavillion to watch UCLA play Colorado. Go Bruins!

We love watching the UCLA Bruins at Pauley Pavilion! All seats are good but we prefer sitting just behind the glass on in the 100 level. For certain sporting events, like Men's Basketball, they offer food truck options which vary. The kettle corn booth is our favorite. The attendants are all very nice and helpful, too. Security is pretty strict and they still have their clear bag policy in effect so make sure to leave your purses and backpacks at home. Small wallet pouches are ok. And you are allowed to bring some food in, just not opened water bottles (empty reusable containers are fine) and now whole fruit (they have to be peeled and/or sliced fruit).

Pauley Pavillion is home to UCLA indoor sports teams... Great amenities and seating... D1 sports arena 9/10... 9/10 only because I have visted other university arenas and liked them more... But over all your typical power 5 school arena...

Went to Pauley Pavilion to see the Bruins take on the Penn State Lions. The school did a great job with the remodel. I truly feel there's not a bad seat in the house. The stadium is clean, the attendants are very nice and helpful. I love seeing all of the championship banners and jerseys of all the UCLA greats on display, as well as of the tributes to John Wooden throughout Pauley. The tickets are reasonably priced and it's a great way to spend time with family, especially if you have young children. I talked with the people sitting around me and everyone was really nice. I got to Westwood with plenty of time so I parked at 1100 Glendon and walked over to Pauley instead parking at the structure that is located close by. It was a nice day out and a great way to spend the afternoon. I had a lot fun, spent quality time with my family, had good seats and the Bruins won! What more can you ask for?

I can't believe I have never been to the Pauley Pavilion that's located at UCLA! My daughter plays volleyball and one of the moms on our team was able to get us tickets to a volleyball game. Yay! The facility is a good size and honestly, every seat seemed like a good seat. I have to say, the pavilion was very clean and it seemed to be well kept up. The popular events that seem to take place include volleyball, basketball, and gymnastics. If you need a snack, the confession stands will fulfill your craving. Parking is easily accessible, however, there is a parking fee. We loved the game and my family enjoyed every moment. They have a great sound system which gets you in the mood! During the game, freebies were thrown into the crowd, and players waved to their fans. It was a great experience!

Lucky me, my first visit to Pauley Pavilion courtesy of a friend with season tickets featured UCLA defeating Southern Cal!! Hard to believe that despite having attended UCLA, I had never actually set foot inside the Pavilion itself. What a great place to watch a basketball game. The impressive history of John Wooden's numerous championship wins can be seen in the banners hanging from the rafters. And thinking of basketball royalty such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton playing here makes me proud to be a Bruin. Parking is pretty efficient. Vaccines were required and the check-in process went smoothly. Food is typical stadium fare. The UCLA student crowd is FANTASTIC, especially when playing the Trojans; not for nothing was the stadium staff prepared with their "Please refrain from using any profanity in your cheers this evening" announcements. HAHA! Duck SC!

Wow!! This place is still beautiful! They have taken good care of it through the years. Was recently here again to watch the UCLA vs USC basketball game. Close game and UCLA prevailed! They also showcased an impressive Alumnus to play the National Anthem and he played his rendition on the saxophone and was absolutely amazing! UCLA definitely has elite talented students!

Home of the UCLA Bruins basketball teams, Pauley Pavilion is as fine an arena as any to watch a college basketball game. The thing it has going for it is history and tradition; it's incredibly rich in it. From the statue of 10-time national champion John Wooden outside to the hallways honoring championships and legends of Bruins past inside (what a great recruiting tool), as a college basketball fan, you can't help but appreciate it. In this regard, the only college arena I've been to that is comparable is the Dean E. Smith Center (Dean Dome) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (https://www.yelp.com/biz/dean-e-smith-center-chapel-hill). Like a lot of college basketball courts around the country, the court at Pauley is named after coach Wooden. The full name of the court is Nell and John Wooden Court and the full name of the arena is Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. Pauley donated a lot of money to construct the arena which opened in 1965. Pauley Pavilion underwent $136 million in renovations in 2011-12. The renovation added additional seating capacity (about 700 more seats), restrooms, LED boards, wider concourses with glass garage doors (which can create a cool indoor-outdoor environment when the weather is nice), and an overall more modern and sleeker look. I'm a Georgia Tech alumni and men's basketball season ticket holder (20+ years). Our home arena, McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta (https://www.yelp.com/biz/mccamish-pavilion-atlanta), also underwent renovations around the same time as and reopened in 2012 like Pauley. Compared to Pauley, McCamish's renovations were "only" $50 million. Granted, the seating capacity at McCamish is roughly two-thirds that of Pauley. I think McCamish is just as nice as, if not nicer than, Pauley. The advantage McCamish has over Pauley is you can see the basketball court all the way around the concourses. McCamish also has a club area that faces the court. Pauley doesn't have those features. The Pauley Pavilion Club is a closed-off room. However, it's hard to beat the aforementioned championship history at Pauley plus its glass exterior and outdoor patio sections. At the time of writing this review, Pauley Pavilion is the third-biggest basketball arena in the Pac-12 Conference with seating for 13,800. Only Utah's Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City (15,000) and Arizona's McKale Center in Tuscon (14,655) are bigger. Despite its relatively large size, the sightlines and viewing angles inside Pauley are excellent. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Pauley Pavilion is located on UCLA's campus. $12-per-vehicle parking is available around the arena in campus lots P4, P7, and P8. These lots are accessible via Westwood Plaza, Charles E. Young Drive North, and Strathmore Place, respectively. To see specifically where these are, check out the map I posted to this Yelp page. You can pay with credit card using self-serve kiosks.

Wanted to come here for so long, because of the incredible history, and was able to go twice in 2 weeks! And tickets under $20? Wow. Incredible deal. Took my teenage boys and they loved it too. Every seat is good - we sat up high but it's like the medium level at Staples. Actually it reminded me of Staples - without the nosebleed section. Loved the "museums" all around and the mad love for John Wooden. We parked for free a mile away near the LA Cemetery and walked through the hills through fraternities etc and it was good exercise and easy. Love the campus. I take the boys over occasionally just to explore UCLA - just love the whole area. Pauley is a MUST SEE!

I've only been to Pauley Pavilion twice, when I've purchased tickets to bring a friend to catch Bruins Mens basketball. I always try to pick a game that will be really exciting so it's a really fun experience. I'm two for two! On my most recent visit I noticed they had a Chick Fil A now, which is exciting! They also have CPK (not a fan) and an outdoor food vendor/truck area. I usually order a pretzel and grab a side of mustard. There's my touch on the foodie subject. I don't typically spend a lot on our seats because I'm not one who really cares about being super close I just want to be at the game sometimes versus watching it on TV. The seats all seem fine enough to me. Parking is $13 The campus store was open on our most recent visit and we picked up a few new items, so that's always a plus if you're looking to snag a little gift for a fan or alumni. My friend was a football season ticket holder for decades and I enjoyed going to those games but I will say there's something really wholesome about the basketball games. If UCLA could get their act together on a consistent basis I'd buy season tickets. I sort of like the not having to tailgate for hours before walking into a game, maybe that's just my old age talk. I do wish they offered Kombucha on tap here. I was looking for it, but didn't spot it. I think it'd be a great touch! All in all, a very fun and memorable experience the times I've got us to winning games.

The hottest ticket on the UCLA campus? The gymnastics team! At least Ken Jeong (yup, he attended) and I thought so. A few weeks ago, the hubs bought general admission tickets for four of us. TIP For advance ticket purchases, on the first Friday of each month the Ticketmaster fees to most UCLA athletics are waived until 11:59 p.m. To recap the first event I ever attended at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA's score of 197.575 beat Utah State's 194.850. It was great entertainment even for my husband who doesn't really know much about the sport. The event started at 4:30 p.m. They even had a slightly drawn-out introduction and presentation by Athletic Director Dan Guerrero to honor Valorie Kondos Field's 29 years as head coach and 37 years on the UCLA coaching staff. It was really neat to see the joy on her face when they unveiled the gymnastics floor with her signature on it, now known as Valorie Kondos Field Floor. Just before the meet ended just after 6:00 p.m., we saw not one, but two perfect ten performances by Kyla Ross and Katelyn Ohashi. Everyone in the mostly clean indoor arena received a free BJ's Pizookie coupon for the 10s. PARKING/SEATING Due to its popularity, I recommend getting there as soon as possible. Over 12,000 people were in attendance that Saturday afternoon (3/16/19). General admission is first come, first served. We arrived before 3:30, but it was already starting to get packed. Plus I had to take my purse back to the truck due to their "clear bags only" policy. The one time I don't do my homework, I suffer. Lol. Regular parking in the garage nearby is $12, and disabled vehicles are $9. OVERALL I despise the clear bags only policy and the usher that nearly took me out trying to get onto someone else (fucking hell man!), but loved the rest including the cutouts of the athletes for our toddlers to take photos with, the alumni band, the little black "Life is short, don't wait to dance" giveaway bags signed by Miss Val, and those cookies from the concession stand. Were those from Diddy Riese? Sure tasted like it... GO BRUINS!

Our family absolutely loves coming here for sporting events. We have always supported the Bruins and I am certainly grateful to be a part of the Bruin family. We mainly attend basketball games when we go here as a family and every experience has been exciting and memorable thus far. We usually park on Gayley and walk over to get that necessary exercise and pass by the Los Angeles Tennis Center to get a glimpse of the beautiful courts before finding our seats at Pauley. The crowd can get pretty amped up during huge games, but it dies down a bit during winter break when mostly everyone has gone home to their families. It has been a pleasure to see star athletes on the rise at this prestigious institution with so much history, tradition, and culture. It really is humbling to even take part in the sporting events because of the added time we get to spend together as a family. Thank you, Bruins, for all your hard work and dedication! It has been our pleasure to support you along the way. *8-cLAp*

This was a double-header event (RFCLA vs. San Diego Legion followed by USA Women vs. Japan), and the $50 GA ticket was a good value for two games. GA wasn't sold out, and there were also group deals and reserved seating options. This is probably an excellent venue for collegiate sporting events, but was not an ideal to attend professional team games. Notes Pros: - Good value for a full afternoon and evening of rugby. - No bad seats--it's a small stadium, so you're close to the action no matter where you sit. - You're allowed to bring your own food and drinks, which is great. Concessions included hot dogs, nachos, snacks, and candy. - Casual atmosphere. Cons: - Bleachers felt a bit high school--in the GA blue section, there are no steps, so you have to climb the bleacher rows to get to your seat. - Kickoff was delayed with no explanation or updates. - Sprinklers turned on mid-game (twice!), pausing play for several minutes while teams re-warmed up. - Port-a-potty bathrooms only. Parking Parking in Lot 4 was $16, but exiting was slow due to poor traffic flow and no direction from staff. Overall I had fun! It wasn't the level of stadium I expected for professional rugby teams, but the capacity was about right, so I also understand why this venue was chosen. The sprinklers coming on was really funny but not great for a professional game. I get that these things happen, but it was also not resolved quickly.
