Took a few days to get my car in for servicing, pretty busy before the holiday. Took my Ford Fusion in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service met expectation and in a reasonable amount of time. The service department is pretty good. I always go to this Ford dealer for car and truck service. Okay they really do read the surveys. I completed a survey and mentioned that there was no rent a car available. Earl called me personally to explain that if I give them a day or two notice that I will be needing a rent a car they will have one for me. Great Job Earl....you are making Mr. Mizell look really good. Thanks again. read more

lie lie lie lie lie, the acts all they do is lie. told lies to get me to buy a car then mad because I cursed them out. very unprofessional. "You cursing at my employees they weren't here when it happened" "you got all them papers how about you read them" read more

This dealerships scams you to come in by saying you win a prize if your number you scratch off matches the number on the prize. It says you are a guaranteed winner. When you get there, they say everyone is actually a winner when they scratch it off even though the flyer says something totally different. Then they try to sell you a car by asking you what do you drive now and do you want to trade. If they use gimmicks and tricks to get you there by lying down they really expect people to trust them with selling you a car? I would never use a company like that. read more

I have a government law suite against this company for senior abuse. They have had 5 managers in the last year. They sold me a Mercedes with bad tires and a bad battery verified by the Mercedes company and sold me a maintance contract and then told me they can't work on in Mercedes and won't give the money back to me. Then they told me they would get me in another car and lied and I went in and they said no. Since then they have called and false advertised nothing down and we can get you in a car and it's false advertisements!!!! Bad service , bad management , bad sales. And the service department couldnt even put in a windshield wiper. Pathetic. read more

very disappointed. purchased my vehicle the 18th of November and the brakes started scrubbing. I called them to check my warranty and let them know. I have left MULTIPLE messages for finance manager Byron with no replies. He did text saying he would call back in which he did not. they don't mind ringing you phone off the hook and contacting you when you are interested in a vehicle. after the signing of the papers it's a wrap. good luck on getting in touch with anyone. read more

This dealership practices unethical... Don't buy from THIGPEN FORD !!!! My elderly parents bought a used car from THIGPEN FORD... Awful results. They are getting one star bc I can't get lower. read more

I was nervous about buying after a bad experience but from the second I met Kristy, I could focus on getting exactly what I wanted! She made this process enjoyable! Also, there was zero pressure; she just made sure to listen to what I needed, pointed out options that were what I was looking for, in the end, I had the perfect car! I was dreading this process but Kristy made it fun! Thank you!!! read more

Rude, Placed on hold for 10 minutes. called back again and attempted to speak to the sale/General Manager but was told he was too busy. Not too busy to have his name printed on a fake mailing to try and drum up business. Attempted to address mass mailings for a person that has been dead for over two years. Sending out these fake lies upsets people. They also send out fake you will win a prize if you scratch this ticket which is nothing more than a con to attempt to have you come to their dealership. As a person that has always attempted to buy local; I would walk before I would consider buying anything from Paul ThigPen Ford in Waynesboro. Michael S. Wood read more

Much of the time in my experience with car dealerships the part I dislike the most is finding the right salesman. I am so impressed and THANKFUL to have met Jack Petersen!!! I felt heard (which is so important when going into an investment of this magnitude) also, I will be recommending Jack to anyone I know in the market for a dream ride!!! Thank You Jack Petersen, you will be on my Christmas list for years to come!! read more

I have a 2021 Ford Explorer that the transmission went out in. I called the service department and was told that they could get my car in to look at it. I had to have the vehicle towed to Paul Thigpen Ford in Waynesboro. My car has been sitting there for over 2 months now and when I ask the service advisor I get a generic response every time. I have spoken to the service manager and another manager and received no help. I am being told that they only have one technician. I understand that they may be backed up, but not getting any help is where the problem is. I have just made my 3rd payment on that car and it is still broken down. read more

I understand why such bad reviews now! 65 mile drive to get there after being told not to worry everything would go good , a being for over an hour was told ,,sorry no go! a 65 mile drive back home, a waste of my time & gas! Should have none better! I just wanted to thank y'all for the great deal yesterday, after Santell just as much assured me that that He would put me in a truck with no problems at all and that he had lenders that would finance me and that you all would not be shotgunning my credit which so far I've had 20 or so inquiries on my credit report since I went to your dealership So ! Just a quick Thank you to you all, I really am proud of my new truck (right) A complete waste of my time and gas plus 5 hours that I could have being doing something productive! read more

I recently purchased a used Ford escape from the dealership after having a few issues with the sales manager Gary everything was completely resolved by the service team and Mr. Mizell himself. I worked with Carlton Daniel who was extremely helpful. Although I wouldn't recommend the sales portion of the dealership the service center is TOP NOTCH. read more

I had worked with a number of dealers in the area while searching out the truck I wanted. William Mizell was easily the most fair in price and in my trade-in, which alone would have made me purchase here, but with the service they provide, shopping here is a no-brainer! I had Justin Parrish as my salesman and he was excellent. He was fast, fair, honest and worked to get me exactly what I wanted and when I wanted it. There was no pushing me to buy or extreme lowball offers off the bat, like I had experienced elsewhere. The finance director and his assitant were both efficient and extremely helpful as well. I couldn't say enough about the staff here, I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my purchase! read more

William Mizell Ford will be the only car dealer I will deal with from now on. They gave me what I wanted for my trade ins (2) I even traded a motorcycle. They even work a great deal with the price of the truck. The time I spent getting paperwork done was very quick. I would say they have their ducks in a row. 2 friends of mine recommended William Mizell to me, and it was the best experience I have ever had. Thanks guys for the experience. You will see me again. We had the pleasure of working with Gavin McMillan long distance from Hawaii as we were purchasing a new car for our son who was headed to Augusta for his job in the Navy. Using USAA's car buying service was a great way to do business with this USAA certified dealer. Mahalo! read more

Had a works oil change done in a timely manner. Nice folks. Anything to avoid The Ford dealer in Augusta. Its the worst.

Never again!!!! I bought a used 4-wheel drive Ford truck two weeks ago. The salesman, Sammy, said everything worked on the truck. When I got home that evening, I took it out in a field to try the 4-wheel drive. It didn't work! I called the next morning and asked to speak with, Sammy. He wasn't there, I left messages everyday for him to return my call. I finally asked to speak to the sales manager and told him my problem. He said he would have Sammy return my call. Sammy never called and wouldn't answer my calls. Today I talked with the sales manager, Keith, and he said I should have tested out the 4-wheel drive before I paid for it. I live 75 miles away, you cannot test out 4-wheel drive in a parking lot!!!! Keith refuses to do anything about it!!!! Crooks!!!!!!!!! read more

Bought a car here 4.5 years ago, drove up from central Florida to buy the exact car I wanted. Everything went fairly smooth, but a month later the phone calls started. for over 4 years these jerks keep calling me every few months trying to sell me another car. I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their list, asked several managers, even got loud and abusive but the phone calls keep coming. I will NEVER spend another dime at this dealership because they can't seem to figure out how to remove my number from their solicitation list. read more

I was "questioned" as to whether or not I removed items from my trade in after the deal was signed. I don't appreciate my integrity being questioned by a sales manager or anyone else for that matter. No one was able to walk me through the features on the sync 3 system or help troubleshoot issues connecting my phone. That is a key feature of the sync 3. I had to research a video on YouTube and call the 1800 number for help. The delivery of the vehicle was hasty. I was made to feel like I had to load my things from one vehicle to the new one quickly. This did not allow me to conduct a thorough walk through of the new vehicle. If I had the opportunity to do so then I'm sure I would have noticed the door ding at the dealer and not after I got home. I expressed my concern about the lack of understanding I have for "dealer math" from the beginning of the deal. I was presented an agreement with one price and then presented another agreement at the final deal which had a $10,000 difference. After repeated attempts to tell the salesman that it wasn't making sense to me I was ready to walk out. Finally, the sales manager realized his mathematical mistake and the price was fixed and a deal was made. Overall, I absolutely love the truck and the features. The tow package and capabilities was the ultimate decision maker for me. read more

I am a fan of William Mizell Ford because the saleman, Justin, and the sales manager, Jeremy, worked hard to get me the vehicle I wanted. The local Ford dealers apparently just wanted to sell from their inventory, so, I took the drive to William Mizell Ford which is about 45 minutes away, and they got me exactly the SUV I asked for. I definitely will refer my friends to this dealership. read more

Please don't buy a car from this dealership. They sold us a truck with a blown head gasket and from the words of the sales manager Ken "THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME" Saturday March 6, 2021 we came in to look at a f250. We were told by our sales guy Derrick Dixon that he had been driving it for a couple days and the only thing wrong was alittle play in the steering and the driver seat would not go up.  We bought the truck and yes signed a AS IS paper. We got 30 minutes down the road and the temperature hand started to rise. It went down so we started off again. The temperature went up again we called Derrick but of course no answer. We had to put 3.5 gallons of water in it to get us home. On Tuesday the 9th  we took the truck to the shop for them to tell us it had a blown head gasket and the cost to fix it was around $5000. I wrote a letter to the owner in which he did respond and remind me it was AS IS. He also agreed that this was no way to run a business but of course no offer to do anything about the issues. We had other issues with not getting our second set of keys and being lied to about that but we did get the keys a week and a half later. They will lie to you over and over to make a sale and could care less if it strands you on the side of the road as soon as you leave. Please do your research, read the reviews and listen to your gut. This is not a good company to do business with. I have bought many of cars from dealerships and never have I had an issue until now with a car breaking down as soon as I left. Take your business elsewhere I promise you won't regret it. read more

With the current state of the world now was not the time for my car to stop working. I've been researching and looking online for the past 3 weeks. I contacted Mizell Ford and was put through to Al. Wow - what a wealth of information and support. He was willing to work with me on my terms to view, test drive and purchase my car. He was so kind, professional and above all treated me with respect. He said his goal was for me to smile during my time at the dealership, leave smiling and smile when I look back on my experience. Needless to say I'm still smiling as I have my new Mustang in my garage, at the price I was looking for. I worked with Brandi on the delivery and she showed me all the new "tech" that goes with my car. Ken in financing was friendly, efficient and quick. He had me do as much online as possible so my time there as short. I arrived at 4:15 and was on the road home by 5:45. I would highly recommend Al and the entire staff at Mizell. While it is a 45 minute drive for me and I pass at least 2 other Ford Dealerships, I will return there for my service. read more

Bought a vehicle from them and got screwed. They omitted the truth when selling it to me, which in my opinion is just as bad as lying. when i called to make a complaint the man, john i believe was his name, was so rude to me at one point he laughed at me. this place is a thieving joke of a business and NO ONE should buy a vehicle from here. read more

After several emails about a specific Certified PreOwned truck I decided to make the hour drive to the dealer to try to work out a fair price. Instead of letting the customer know (or me specifically) that this certified truck has thousands of dollars of body damage, and who knows what is unseen, I arrive to see it for myself. Very disappointing. William Mizzell has taught me to first ask "tell me everything that is wrong with it before I come". They have guaranteed that they will NEVER have my business. read more

William Mizell Ford in Waynesboro had a better selection of vehicles and better prices than any other dealerships in Southeast Georgia. David Lang was great at answering all my questions via the Web and phone for a couple of weeks before we drove to the dealership. He was busy when we arrived, so Ken Thomas helped us. He was great too, bringing us the cars we were interested in and working the dollars of the deal. The finance guy, Eric Liebsly, got through the paperwork very quickly and was helpful about warranty and gap information. We are VERY happy with our new C-Max and would recommend that other people visit the dealership. read more
