Hubby needed a haircut REALLY BAD! Lol I did my best during quarantine but let's be real ladies... beard trimmers aren't ever going to replace a true barbers steady hands and tools! I called Paul late in the evening and by accident and quickly hung up bc I was planning on calling again early the next morning. But he's just THAT GOOD and professional. He called me back right away and I asked if he'd be able to schedule a last minute haircut for my man before a family trip we were taking the next day. Paul was accomadating & quickly looked at his schedule during our 3 minute phone call. He came in early the next day to make time for his client and did the best haircut! My man has a thick curly hair. I have a younger brother that has thin straight hair and I have been able to upkeep my brother's hair but Hubby was a whole different level. I didn't realize how hard it was to cut/fade until I had to do it myself. Paul The Barber gave him a great fade from his neck and per my husband "you could tell he was comfortable with the tools he was using and has been doing this for a while." It's time for haircut #2 and I can update the review in a few days... stay tuned! read more

Worst experience ever!! First of all they over charged me as I discussed 50 and the add 15 add the end cause my hair was longs and also I paid 75 dollar they didn't even model my hair!! read more

Hands down the best pixie cut I've ever had. Debbie understood completely the assignment and gave me the best haircut. Hairdressers are usually afraid of cutting women's hair, but not Debbie. She did a phenomenal job. Super recommended! They're super cool, and the vibe is super chill! read more

Paul The Barber - Women Pixie haircut - Barbers Near Me - Westwood, California

I've been rockin with Paul for many years now. He always cuts my hair exactly how I like it and I enjoy catching up with him during. His team is kickin positive energy over there. Highly recommend. read more

This haircut was far below the standard of a $50 dollar haircut. Desmond did not cut my hair evenly on both sides. Even though the appointment was for 35 minutes, we were finished in 15. I would not recommend coming here, unless you are able to get an appointment with Paul himself. read more

Paul may be good, but I got a bad haircut from the kid who works there. He didn't listen, left irregular tufty areas that had to be pointed out, and left me with a mess that will grow out in time. Look at the pictures on Yelp. I assume they can do that fine, but don't trust these guys with your hair if you want anything more complicated than buzzed back and sides. read more

I've been going to Paul for the last 6 years and have to say that he's totally professional in everything he does. Paul, first and foremost is the quintessential gentleman barber and knows how to make you feel like you're a welcome guest even if it's your first time in the chair. Paul's newer Westwood shop is really easy to walk to if you live in the village like me, but pro tip if you drive in you can park at the Target or Trader Joe's parking lot and figure out your free parking. read more

Gave a great cut to my son even though it was simple and to clean it up it was still great!

Paul is a very nice low-key barber if you want to good haircut for a reasonable price I strongly recommend him.

Ashley is an artist! She is very detail oriented. She takes her time and listens. She is no ordinary stylist. She is truly talented

Paul has been my barber since I moved to LA a few years ago. He is a consummate professional, skilled barber, and very personable. His new studio is clean, well maintained, and allows for a semi private customer experience, as each chair gets their own space. I really like being able to book appointments conveniently online, and always am able to get into the chair with little to no wait subsequently. If you need a barber in the Westwood area, check him out. read more

Paul is a pro at his craft and is also fun to conversation with. I walked out of there with the best cut I have had in a long time. I will be back regularly. I highly recommend his services. read more

Update. When I called and asked availability, I said I get a HIGH BALD FADE. Then thats where he asked if for a man or woman. It doesnt matter, especially if I already said I have short hair and get it cut even shorter. Just plain rude and SEXIST. read more

Paul is amazing. I'm super picky about my hair and Paul never disappoints. Convenient locations, early hours available and booking online is extremely helpful for me. I work for a large department at UCLA and I always need to look my best. Thanks Paul! read more

This review is for Paul, since I've only had my hair cut by him (he has some other staff). Paul is a chill dude who always leaves me looking fresh, even when I don't listen to him and end up going for a cut every 2 months. When it's time for a wet shave, he does that as well and it feels like a spa. You won't regret it. He gives a discount for college students too read more

I never thought I'd willingly pay more than $30 for a haircut, but these guys make it so worth it! I've gotten my hair cut by Ashley and Sy and can't recommend them enough. read more

I recently moved from NYC to LA and had been looking for a good barber who I can come to regularly, and I found her! Ashley is amazing. She's great with the fade and cutting my hair too (which is rare, usually barbers who are good with the fade are not good with cutting the top). Moreover, Ashley is super nice and a great conversationalist. I'm a regular! I highly recommend her. read more

This should be your loyal barbershop in Westwood. I had a perfect haircut from Ciera. Paul and three other barbers work here. It is a smaller group and it is clear that Paul wants to provide all customers with a deluxe experience and haircut! read more

Got my haircut from Ashley. The fade is fine and the top looks alright, although I had to re-trim my bangs a touch. The haircut was very slow, and service was adequate; at the end, I definitely felt a little rushed out. Didn't ask about product preference. I'm satisfied with my haircut, but probably won't be returning. Price (for students) was not too bad ($35 before tip). read more

Paul + Ashley + Ciera are straight up amazing. I met Paul during Covid last year - he did house calls cutting my wig piece on my balcony and I have been a client ever since - Always on point with current styles, they are exacting and professional. I drive across town in traffic because I can always count on him keeping me current - not to mention he's just a good human being. read more

Ashley was amazing, quick, and I couldn't recommend anyone else. Lucky if you get a cut by her!

Ashley provided great service and a solid conversation, plus the complementary chilled water bottle was a nice touch in this weather. Highly recommend this place! read more

Ashley / Ash is the best barber I've ever had! I've been going to her for over a year and every haircut I've gotten across a few styles has been on point even though I'm picky. I usually go with a sort of 90s men's undercut, so it's mostly a scissor cut with the edges razered. Because it's very thick and tends to sticks straight out, it's difficult to get it to lay right. I have gone to several barbers over the years, and despite most of them being significantly more expensive, none of them have been as meticulous or gotten my hair to cooperate as well as Ash does. I've had several strangers approach me and ask me who my barber is, even when I'm overdue for a cut lol. Ash is an absolute gem and the shop has a friendly vibe overall as well. read more

Paul has been consistent, professional and really great in styling me while in LA! Check him out when you get the chance!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Absolutely the best barber in the area. The shop was so clean and Paul did awesome sanitizing the area before I got my cut. Incredible quality haircut/full beard cut for an amazing price. Especially impressed with Paul's personable skills, great communicator, and he's fast yet efficient while multitasking all his other responsibilities. If you want the best cut come here, hands down. read more

The intersection of quality and passion is where Paul works. I see it each time I look in the mirror after every cut and beard trim I get from him. No matter how busy Paul is with his schedule, I feel he takes the time to get the job done right, and not to mention, at an affordable price. Thanks Paul! read more

Only person in Westwood I trust to cut my hair. Been going to Paul for nearly 2 years, once every month. Fades on point, always keeps the top length of my hair to what I want, perfect hard part and lineup. At this point, he knows my cut and just confirms that I don't want any changes. He's meticulous and timely. Super easy to make an appointment using Booksy, and I've never had any issues. If you are looking for a barber, Paul is your guy! read more

Paul is an incredible Barber. Aside from the perfect haircuts, he is professional, kind, quick and patient. My husband started going to Paul a year back and has been impressed by his business and his willingness to accommodate our family's schedule. After our two young sons both had terrible experiences with their previous barber who was rude, impatient and not great with children, they dreaded haircut day. With Paul, they look forward to going now! You can't go wrong with Paul if you're looking for a great cut, superb service and positive energy. read more

it's been a year I am going to paul best barber in Westwood

I got my haircut with Paul right before July 4th and he did a great job! I needed him to cut me up during my 1 hr lunch break and he has me in and out in 30 min. I gave him a few bullet points in what I wanted and he did the rest. Left me looking fresh! His area was spotless and he kept everything sanitized. I felt totally safe and was actually pretty impressed that he gave me a great cut and didn't need me to take my mask off to get around my ears. Overall great experience, great cut with a total pro! I know where to go for my next cut. read more

Just got done with my first haircut with Paul. He's a very laid back and chill guy, conversation was nice and not forced. I have pretty crazy hair with a lot of cow licks, so it is pretty easy for me to leave a haircut with something that doesn't look so hot, but Paul did a great job, first try. read more

Just got a cut from Justin, never written a review before but he's a great guy and an even better barber. I have very difficult hair to cut, curly, wirey, just an overall challenge for any barber I've ever been to, but Justin took his time, asked for my input, and gave good advice in areas I was unfamiliar with. Talking to Justin you can tell he loves his job and dedicates a significant amount of time to improving his skills. In my 19 years of life, this is one of the only times I've left a barber happy and excited with my cut. Overall, I had a great time and genuinely recommend him to anyone looking for a new barber. read more

Got a cut from Pinky that turned out great. Nice conversation, made sure everything looked how I wanted it. Would come back if I weren't graduating! read more

Went to this shop about a month ago. Haircut was decent. Barber spent more time on the phone then actually cutting my hair. Poor service.

If I could give more stars I would! He's by far the best barber I've had in all my years in LA. His attention to detail, quality of service and friendly demeanor are just a few of the qualities that keep me going back. Try him and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed! read more

Paul is great. I got a bad hair cut at Floyds and came to Paul after seeing pics of his cuts online. Very talented and easy to chat with.

I got more than I even expected and the service was so nice! This is a place where you should go for your next haircut

Paul is an awesome Barber! My Nephew's Barber cancelled at the last minute and Paul was able to fit him in to his schedule same day. I was pleased at how neat his hair was cut. Paul also took his time with my Nephew because he notice he was a little nervous. My nephew Jayden absolutely loved his haircut and thought it was cool. I'd recommend Paul to anyone! read more

I've been with him for years. Best cuts and service. New location makes everything even better

Paul is an amazing Barber. I usually take my son to see him in the shop where he works which is an hour away from our house, but well worth the drive. Since we are not able to see him in the shop, Paul came to our house to cut my sons hair. He did an impeccable job as usual. He was clean and courteous and wore a mask and gloves. He upheld the same level of professionalism by being prompt, bringing all of the necessary tools and giving my son a Great haircut. read more
