I was to have a Cardio Pulmonary Stress test on July 15, 2011. The office called and asked to…read morereschedule for July 22, 2011. I agreed to the rescheduling. I called the office on the 21st and it was confirmed that I did have an appointment the next day at 11:30. I arrived around 11:15, filled out all the paperwork and waited. After an hour and everyone that was in the office when I arrived and all that arrived afterward was seen I approached the window to inquire when I would be seen. I was informed that they were just busy that day. About five minutes later I was called to the reception window and asked if I could reschedule my appointment for that afternoon. I did not reschedule for that afternoon but called about 10 days later to reschedule my appointment. I was rescheduled on the 5th of August. During this time I decided to check my UHC summary of charges and found that Dr. Iteld's office had actually billed UHC for his visit and the Cardio Pulmonary Stress test dated July 15, 2011. I have contacted UHC and Dr. Iteld's office by phone and mail. I have also cancelled the appointment for August 5, 2011 as I do not feel comfortable having any type of procedure performed at this facility. Gloria Wilson Entrekin

They have good doctors here, no doubt. But their patient management is lacking. First off, the…read morereceptionists are separated from the patient waiting area by closed, frosted windows. Secondly, a waiting time of an hour past your appointment time is a standard. But being brought back and left sitting in a room for an hour and a half past your appointment time (without a word from anyone) was the tipping point for me. Done. Over. Fini. My time (and my health) is important and valuable to me. It's why I make an appointment. Act professionally.
