I was extremely impressed with Dr Miller III's professionalism, knowledge, and experience with the newest innovations of treatment for those who are in need of some sort of cosmetic treatment (mine being a bit of crowding that needs some outside assistance). From his beautiful office to his friendly staff, I have never experienced such wonderful treatment from an orthodontic team, nor have I seen such high tech equipment that makes the process so streamlined and less time intensive for their patients. Ive been going here several years and when ive needed things done have never felt pressured by the staff. They let me know their recommendations and then I complete on my timeline unless its obvious something needs to be done sooner rather than later. The staff always make you feel welcome and at ease. On this day I merely mentioned the problem I had in post op pain from a procedure she did and Dr. Zembeck, who refuses to provide pain medication or antibiotics, reacted with a 'take or leave it attitude'. When you tell a patient who simply wants to get good dental care that "...maybe we aren't the provider for you.", you are inviting the patient to disappear in a my way or the highway scenario. I chose to disappear. This Dentist on this day attempted to extol her own credentials and knowledge while belittling and berating me for having gone elsewhere to immediately deal with an infection and pain I believe her office caused. She even impugned the knowledge and experience of my own primary care doctor when dealing with my post op issues, with an attitude of superiority and condescension. This Dentist exhibited no empathy, made no attempt to discuss my concerns and fear of post op pain, made no attempt to connect with me, except to say that I "demanded" of them a course of pain management provided by other dental providers, which wasn't true. To sum it all up, I feel this Dentist on this day acted arrogant, self centered, self aggrandizing and emotional, made no attempt to "hear me", and was only interested in putting forward her own belittling, screechy, know it all attitude. As she walked out of the room and I was preparing to leave, this Dentist even invited me to have my dental records sent elsewhere for continued care, as of I didn't know this. Not a professional attitude in my opinion. Not at all.'

I was a patient of Dr. Schrimper of Belton & Schimper of Rocky Mount, NC for about six years…read more Primarily for my cleanings. I had pressure on my bottom right molar. Once the x-rays were done they showed I did not have any cavities but Dr. Schimper insisted to file the tooth down. I explained I did not want any procedures done to my teeth but, that I clench my teeth when I sleep & suggest a night guard. During my cleaning while I'm laying back in the chair talking to the dental assistant who was behind me to clean my teeth, I hear a drill. Dr. Schrimper sneaks behind me to file my tooth down anyway. My teeth now hits very heavy on my front teeth. I have acid erosion caused by teeth hitting. I have jaw pain. My bite is completely off. He has created more trouble than pressure on one tooth. I'm not satisfied at all!
